1950s HISTORIC California Missions Post card
VIV412 This is a 4 ¼ x 7 inch fold out post card. It unfolds to 4 ¼ x 23 inches. These were sold by the Automobile Club of Southern California. It features 12 historic missions from the 1700’s along the "El Camino Real" as it was in 1983 and also maps it out. On the same map it shows U.S. Highway NO. 101 as it was in the early 1950’s. It also says on the side "After Father Serra On California’s Royal Road." The postage box reads "1 ½ cents Without Message." It is in very good condition with some very minor rolling on corners and has some yellowing. Some of the featured missions are San Luis Obispo, San Juan Capistrano, San Gabriel and Santa Barbara. Excellent Addition To Any Historic Or Vintage Collection!!

VIV428 This map is 28 ½ x 18 when opened and 3 ½ inches x 9 inches folded. It was issued by Wyoming State Highway Commission and Commerce and Industry Commission. This map shows the major highways as of 1954and small red type highlights of great historical sites of places where historical events occurred and when. The other side has all the highways as well as photos of historic places and events and a legend with distances between major cities. It is in good condition with some yellowing but very little wear. Excellent Addition To Any Vintage Or Historic Collection!!
