Hardcover Book A Needlepoint Gallery of Patterns From the Past, Phyllis Kluger This 1975 hardcover book by Phyllis Kluger has a wonderful variety of 102 needlepoint designs adapted from historical artwork. Each pattern is photographed in both color and black and white, with a clear chart showing stitch type, placement, and color.
The designs are grouped into 10 historical eras: Minoans, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Near East, Greece and Rome, Byzantine Empire, Middle Ages, Islam, Renaissance, 17th to 19th Century Europe, American Folk Art.

191 pages, 9-1/4" by 12-3/8", First Edition, Copyright 1975 Phyllis Kluger, Published by Alfred A. Knopf Inc. Book is in very good to excellent condition, no writing, tears, or damage. Dust jacket has some wear and small tears at upper and lower edges but has done its job of protecting the book. Tole World Magazines and Tole Painting Pattern Books Lot of 8 Included in this lot of 1990s tole or decorative painting patterns and projects are four issues of Tole World magazine: August 1995, October 1995, February 1996, and April 1996. All are complete with pattern sections intact and unused.
