1930s Metlox Poppytrail 200 Series Tumblers, Set of 5
Five 8-ounce pottery tumblers in the Poppytrail 200 Series line, produced by Metlox California circa 1934 to 1936. They're 4" tall and come in Fiesta-like colors of Sea Green, Poppy Orange, Turquoise Blue, Canary Yellow, and Delphinium Blue.
The Delphinium or cobalt blue tumbler has a small glaze flake or scratch on one side near the bottom as shown in the third picture. It's to the glaze only and does not affect the underlying pottery. Otherwise, the tumblers are in perfect condition without wear or other damage - even the dry foot undersides are clean. Incised on the bottoms simply 235-T U.S.A. Price is for the set of five.
