Hand Painted Magenta Stylized Rose Urn Lamp Base
This classic urn shaped ceramic lamp bases is one of the prettiest, most visually appealing I've ever seen. It has a hand painted stylized rose in the center, outlined in gold. The body is off-white, the foot and neck are a lovely shade of purple magenta luster. The scrolly double handles are trimmed in gold.
The base is not wired or fitted with a socket. but it's easy enough to buy a lamp components kit at any home improvement or hardware store. It stands a little over 13" tall and is 5" diameter at the base by about 7" wide at the handle wings. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, crazing or other damage. There is some wear to the gold trim at the handles, and the glaze has some intentional color variations and shading that may give the appearance of wear and age at first glance. The handles are glazed that way too, so it's difficult to tell whether the gold wear is real or made to look that way. The heavy urn base is marked only with the letter B impressed inside.

2 Austrian Standard Base Yellow Roses Figural Light Bulbs
These two old figural flower light bulbs were made in Austria. They are yellow and peach colored, a little over 3" high by 2" diameter, in the shape of roses. One works fine, the other does not - the one with the most red is the working bulb. They have standard size bases, just like modern light bulbs, and would look great in wall sconces or antique light fixtures. One of these bulbs is shown in Robert Brenner's Christmas Revisited book, valued at $40 to $50 each.
