5193
Jefferson Glass Finecut And Roses Blue Opalescent Footed Whimsey Bowl Made by Jefferson Glass Company around 1908, this lovely three-footed opalescent blue whimsey bowl is in the Finecut and Roses pattern. Curled up on three sides, it measures about 7-1/2" diameter by 2-1/2" high. There are a couple of very short, fine scratches in the center of the bowl which are nearly impossible to see without magnification as they're right over the center star. Otherwise it's in excellent condition with no damage.

1734B
1910 Indiana Paneled Daisies & Finecut Large Square EAPG Bowl This beautiful rectangular shaped bowl was made by Indiana Glass Company circa 1910. The pattern is called Paneled Daisies (or Daisy) & Fine Cut No. 123. It measures 10-3/8" by 8-3/4" by 2-3/4" high. It's in crystal clear, excellent condition with very little wear for its age - it must have been put away and seldom if ever used. You can feel one tiny flake of roughness along the inside lip or mold line, and going over the bottom of the bowl with a loupe I found two tiny nicks and a flake on the edges of the cuttings. Certainly nothing you'd ever see in un-magnified circumstances. Any scratch or use marks inside the bowl would also require magnification to see at all - this was a very well-cared for piece of Early American pressed glass and still retains its brilliant sparkle.

4434
Child's EAPG ABC Clock Plate by U.S. Glass Company This child's glass teaching plate was first made by Ripley and Co. Glass, then U.S. Glass Company. It dates from about 1890 to 1900. The 7-1/8" diameter plate has the alphabet, Roman and standard numerals (including military time designations in the appropriate positions) and minute markings on the clock face. There are a few very light, minor marks on the surface from stacking, storage or use, but otherwise the plate is in excellent condition with no damage. There is lots of glare in my photos - the plate isn't cloudy.

Click for more detail...
5381
Caramel Slag Glass Childs Mother Goose Cereal Bowl This 6-1/4" baby or child's bowl is embossed with Mother Goose in the center, and Three Blind Mice, Little Miss Muffet, and Little Bo-Peep around the rim. It is the original, old version made at the Tiffin plant of U.S. Glass Company, NOT the reproduction put out by Tiara in the 1980s.

The glass is a swirled beige-pink light caramel custard color. There is typical mold line roughness at the edges of the verge. A couple of smooth indentations to the mold line at the inner rim indicates it may have been flaked off by a spoon. I tried to show this in the closeup photo but it's much more easily felt than seen. The glass has the typical straw marks and bubbles you'd expect from a juvenile feeding dish of this age but no chips or cracks. The last photo was darkened a bit to better show the molded design.

It's 8-1/2" diameter by 4-1/2" deep and has a crown pattern in the design repeated 4 times around the sides. The bottom ring is ground and polished.
