Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Art Tin Litho Covered Handled Lunch or Sewing Basket
This attractive oval metal lunch, storage, or sewing basket has a tin litho design of Pennsylvania Dutch folk art figures all around the sides and on the lid. I believe it dates to the 1930s. It measures 11" by 11-1/2" by 4-1/4" deep (not including the height of the hinged swing handles). It has wonderful, colorful graphics in red, yellow, green and white on black.
The basket is in excellent condition with little wear. The inside is clean with no rust or scratches, the outside has no major dents or scratches and no fading of the colors. There is a tiny, barely seen ding near the bottom at the seam, and a couple of tiny nicks to the litho finish, none much bigger than a pinprick.
Circa: 1930s - 1940s

A beautiful single Victorian candle sconce in heavy spelter metal from the Art Nouveau era. It's 15 inches tall, depth from the wall to the candle bobeche is 8-1/2". At some point it was painted white, but the original finish appears to have been gilded. The narrow sconce has a lady's face in high relief at the center focal point, the candle cup is ornately engraved with floral motifs. There is some natural age wear to the paint as shown but the new owner may wish to completely strip it and restore the original finish. There are no breaks or repairs to the metal.

Pair Anchor Hocking Park Avenue Glass Candlesticks
These 4-3/8" square, ribbed crystal candle holders are in the Park Avenue pattern by Anchor Hocking. Park Avenue was very similar to Hocking's depression era Manhattan or Horizontal Ribbed pattern, and the candlesticks appear nearly identical in the two lines except for the rayed design at the center bottom in Park Avenue, as this pair has. They're in perfect condition with no wear or damage.

Mercury Glass Candles With Pine Cones Christmas Centerpiece
This beautiful Christmas floral centerpiece arrangement was probably made in pre-1940s Japan. It consists of metallic foil leaves, pinecones, wired mercury glass beads, and five real mercury glass silvered candles. The candles are about 4-1/2" long, the centerpiece is about 7" wide by 7-1/2" tall.
The blown glass candles have red twisted flame tips and white mica below the flames to simulate wax drips. The mica is worn but the effect is still pretty. The mercury beads have darkened with age and are hard to see in the pine cones now. The cones have suffered a few bumps and broken tips over the years but overall the arrangement is in very good, and still very displayable condition. There is no damage to any of the candles other than slight wear to the red finish of the flame tips.

100 Piece Lot Antique Keys - Furniture, Padlock, Auto, Banks, More
A big collection of old and antique keys - brass, steel, and more for padlocks, trunks, door locks, car ignitions, furniture, trunks, toy bank or jewelry box locks, and who knows what else. There are 100 pieces in all, including a brass padlock marked Hardened and three old Utah license plate key charms. I'm sure the key to the lock is here somewhere but I didn't take the time to try them all to find the right one.
A few of the makers include Master, Yale, Russwin, Sargent, Barrows, Slaymaker, and American. There are quite a few with ornate and fancy designs, especially the Russwin and old Ford auto keys. My apologies for the rust on some of the keys. I soaked them in rust remover and had almost all of it cleaned off, but I didn't realize that rinsing them all together would re-rust them before I could get them all polished and dried.

In excellent condition with no chips or flakes, very little if any wear to the paint.

Pair of 1950s Tinkerbell Fairy Candle Climbers
Made in Japan in the 1950s, this adorable pair of fairy or pixie figurines are candle huggers or climbers, made to look like Tinkerbell. I used to think these scantily dressed figures were racy angels until I saw the matching Peter Pan climbers.
They're about 2-3/4" high with pearl luster dresses and wings and platinum blond ponytails, marked Japan on the undersides. Their arms will encircle just about any style of taper candle. In excellent condition with no damage. I have two identical sets available.
Circa: 1950s
