Beaded Suede Leather Baby Moccasins
A pair of soft sueded leather baby bootie mocassins with Native American style flower beadwork in blue and yellow seed beads. They are obviously quite old and have been worn so I don't think they are doll shoes. Unfortunately I don't have any history on them and cannot tell if they are authentic Native American made or not.
The bead work is done by hand, I think the seams may be machine-sewn, but by a very old machine or one in serious need of adjustment - the stitches are uneven and irregular. The moccasins have ties that wrap around the baby's ankles below the sawtooth cut tops. There are no holes or tears, just a little bit of soiling, and the beadwork is tight with no damage. The soles are about 4-5/8" long from heel to toe.
