3 Dimensional German Plastic Angel in Moon Christmas Ornament
This is an early plastic Christmas ornament, made in pre-war Germany. It's a 3-dimensional diorama style ornament with a curly haired cherub or angel holding a lute inside a yellow moon shaped circle, 1-3/4" diameter. A thin gold cord is attached to the top loop for hanging.
The angel is wonderfully detailed and hand painted. It's in good condition with no chips, cracks, or damage, however it has some soiling to the face and bare feet and should be cleaned (try just a q-tip and water first as I'm not sure whether the angel's paint will survive anything stronger). The ornament is marked on the back Made In Germany.
Circa: 1930s

Little Boy Angel 1950s Christmas Bell
A sweet little boy angel bell for Christmas, made in Japan circa 1950, possibly earlier. The cute little guy is has his hands clasped to his chest and his eyes closed, with an open O shaped mouth. Adding to his charm are two gold smudges of "dirt" on his nose and cheek (put there on purpose of course). The bell is just under 3" high and is marked Japan in red on the inside. The original ceramic bead clapper is intact, and the bell has no chips, flakes, or scratches to the paint. An old green satin ribbon is tied to the top so you can hang your angel from the Christmas tree.

Pair of Vintage Kneeling Singing Angel Figurines
Two sweet little angel figurines, made in Japan in the 1950s. They're dressed a bit like little nuns in kneeling poses, with open O-shaped mouths as if they're singing. One holds a candle, the other a harp. The candle angel is 3-1/2" high, the other just a touch smaller. The wings of the harp angel have been repaired at the back center - it's an excellent repair job, very difficult to spot. Marked simply "Japan" in red on the undersides. Price is for the pair.

Ardalt Porcelain Christmas Angel with Violin in Spaghetti Wreath
Beautiful little porcelain angel holding a violin, encircled by a spaghetti Christmas wreath with applied holly, stars, and bells. She's 4" diameter by 3-3/4" high. There are holes in the back to thread string or wire through so she can hang on the wall, on the Christmas tree as an ornament, or be tied on as a tree topper. The bottom is flat so the figurine can stand on a shelf, tabletop or mantle.
The angel comes in her original box bottom, still packed in straw. The back is numbered 6664 and has a red and gold foil label reading Hand Painted, Lenwile China, Ardalt, Japan. In excellent condition with no damage or wear. See my other listings for a matching angel holding a different musical instrument.

1940s Christmas Angel Net Dress, Composition Face, Mohair Wig - Treetop or Ornament
This lovely old Christmas angel doll figures is 7-1/2" wide, about 6" high, and can be hung on the Christmas tree as an ornament or used as a tree top angel. Her dress is stiff nylon netting with satin lining, decorated with gold foil stars and a gold metallic ribbon sash. The angel's wings are heavy gold foiled paper outlined in thick, furry white chenille. Her head is a composition or clay-like material, with hand painted facial features and mohair blonde hair.
The dresse is a bit dingy but not dirty or stained, though the chenille on the wings does have some yellowing. I see no other problems, just typical signs of age and use common to any 60-plus year old Christmas decoration. There are no labels or markings but I doubt she's any more recent than the post-war 1940s. Two are shown in the photos but only the white dress angel remains - the pink one has been sold.
Circa: 1940s
Manufacturer: Unlabeled

3 Napco Miniature Bone China Musical Angels
These three sweet Napco miniature bone china angels can be displayed year round as well as at Christmas, though I don't think they're necessarily Christmas figurines. Each holds a musical instrument and has applied roses with spaghetti greenery at the side of her dress. They have gold halos and gold tipped wings, and are 2" high. One has short wings but they were made that way, otherwise all are in excellent condition aside from their missing foil Napcoware labels.

3 Porcelain Christmas Angel Bell Ornaments
I love these little 1950s angel bell ornaments - I call them the Uh-Oh girls. Don't the open O-mouth expressions on their faces say "Uh-oh, we've been caught red-handed"? Whatever they've been up to, they're simply adorable.
About 1-5/8" tall, each angel holds a different item - a star, candle, or gift, and each has a colored satin ribbon tie (worn and faded now, and one is almost completely gone, only the knot remains). One is missing her ceramic clapper, the other two make a little tinkling ring when shaken. None have any chips, cracks, or flakes. Marked Japan in red on the insides. Price is for the set of three.
