Pair of Fancy Velvet Beaded Jeweled Christmas Ornaments
Two fancy, very pretty vintage Christmas ornaments studded with beads, jewels, pearls, sequins and braids. They're about 2-1/2" diameter, covered in red and blue velvet, and are 5 to 6 inches long from the tops to the beaded loop fringe at the bottom (not included the length of the cord hangers).
The red ornament has lots of silver beads with a silvered glass tube bead fringe loop and crown, plus silver loopy braid and star and flower shaped sequins in red and silver.
The blue ornament is decorated with gold and blue sunburst sequins surrounding blue glass jewels. Gold loopy braid studded with pearls and blue seed bead separates the jewels and fancy star sequins. The bottom chain loops are made of metallic gold and blue glass seed beads. My pictures don't capture how pretty and nicely made the ornaments are. Price is for the pair.

3 Dimensional German Plastic Angel in Moon Christmas Ornament
This is an early plastic Christmas ornament, made in pre-war Germany. It's a 3-dimensional diorama style ornament with a curly haired cherub or angel holding a lute inside a yellow moon shaped circle, 1-3/4" diameter. A thin gold cord is attached to the top loop for hanging.
The angel is wonderfully detailed and hand painted. It's in good condition with no chips, cracks, or damage, however it has some soiling to the face and bare feet and should be cleaned (try just a q-tip and water first as I'm not sure whether the angel's paint will survive anything stronger). The ornament is marked on the back Made In Germany.
Circa: 1930s

Manufacturer: Pre-War German Import

Silvered Plastic Bird Christmas Ornaments with Spun Glass Tails
It's hard to tell whether these vintage bird ornaments are glass or plastic - they're silvered on the inside and have the look of glass, but they're molded and sound like plastic when you tap them. They were probably made in West Germany in the 1950s. The two birds are 6-1/2" long including the spun glass tail. The bodies are a golden-silvery color. The wings are painted metallic dark blue, with spots of red at the top of the heads and breasts. The silvering on the inside has deteriorated with age, which I think gives the ornaments a nice old-fashioned look. The molded hanging loops at the center of both birds' backs are broken, that is the only damage. Price is for the pair.
Circa: 1950s

Four Retro Japan 1960s Christmas Pixie Elves
Here are four adorable collectible Japan Christmas pixie elves, made in Japan in the 1960s. They have wired legs and arms so you can pose them and are all about 5-1/2 inches tall, except for the one missing his cap (he probably lost it on purpose because he thinks hats are nerdy, like my kids!).
The pixie on the far left in the photo is a girl doll style, with painted fabric face, yarn hair, and mercury bead trim at her collar. The other three have happy plastic faces, felt jester suits and pointy toed shoes. Each has a bit of tinsel garland trim at their wrists and ankles and holds a musical instrument (there is a gold violin for the green elf, it just got left out of the photos). All but hatless boy have gold cord hangers so you can hang them from the Christmas tree as ornaments.

Box Eames Era Retro Springlo Metal Christmas Ornaments
A very scarce and unusual box of Eames Era 1950s Christmas ornaments by Webster Spring Company of Brooklyn New York. They are metal springs - 12 of them in different shapes and colors. They have a space age look to them, very Mid Century Modern. The ornaments are 3" to 3-1/2" long. Seven have fancy, scrolly decorative hooks, the others have replacements or no hooks. They come in their original box and are in good condition with no finish loss or damage, though the box has some age and storage wear.
I've amassed a huge collection of vintage Christmas items over the years and I've never come across another set of these ornaments. I'm guessing they were an experimental item and the company only produced a limited number of boxes for one Christmas season.

7 Old Noma Nursery Rhyme Fairy Tale Christmas Light Bulb Covers
These seven Noma hard plastic light bulb covers were produced in the 1930s. There are pieces from a couple different sets here, the Fairy Tales in Lights set, Mother Goose nursery rhymes set, and one depicts the birth of Jesus. The bell shaped covers fit standard Christmas bulbs and are 1-3/4" high. The Little Red Riding Hood cover is shaped differently, more rounded without the rim at the bottom, though it's also marked Noma (shown in last picture only).
The covers are still usable but do show their age. One has a crack, a couple have minor heat warping, and there is some decal wear.

Lot of 8 Retro 50s and 60s Plastic Christmas Ornaments With Lighted Angel Figurine
An assortment of very cute and very funky plastic Christmas ornaments and decorations from the 1950s and 1960s. My favorite is the hard plastic angel figurine. Five inches tall, she holds a light bulb candle which lights up and has an on/off switch on the underside. Takes a regular AA battery (not included) and works fine.
The plastic candy cane carousel ornament is also about 5" tall. Inside are two hard plastic angel figurines. The other carousel-type 3-D ornament has a snowman inside and plastic snow pellets. This one has a plug at the bottom, I think you can put water inside for a snow globe effect. All three of these items are marked Hong Kong.
Next we have two Santa boot ornaments, soft red plastic filled with artificial greenery. Four to 4-1/2" high, unmarked but probably made in Japan.
The big-eyed striped pixie couple on a sled is made of soft plastic vinyl, 4" high. There is some old tape on the bottom which has yellowed and loosened with age. The tape isn't holding anything together and can probably be removed if desired. Marked Japan.
And finally, two hollow, soft plastic snowman ornaments. The larger one is flocked, about 4-1/2" high. The little snowman is perched on a spray of plastic holly. This one isn't marked, the other has a made in Hong Kong label.
Circa: 1950s - 1960s

Huge 78 Piece Lot Vintage Plastic Christmas Ornaments
Here is a very large assortment of retro 1950s and 1960s plastic Christmas ornaments, enough to do a whole tree. Described in order starting with the second picture:
Bradford 10" indented star tree topper; 2 "glass" paned lanterns with candles inside and holly on top; 2 metallic birdcage style candle lanterns; 4 prism reflective indents with jewel tone colors on the backs; fancy long silver & white mica icicle drop; Jewel Brite long diamond with bottle brush tree inside; Jewel Brite large gold ball with pine and berries inside; church building light cover; glow-in-the-dark icicle (left out of picture).
29 bells from 1-3/4" to 3-1/2" high: light covers (the large red ones), solid metallic finish, striped, cut-out lace effect bells, glittered, etc. I think one or two were left out of the picture.
18 metallic faceted disco balls, 2" to 2-3/4" diameter. Three are wired together to make a drop ornament.
8 decorated round balls: 3 with painted stripes, 5 with vertical bands of real silvering (tarnish is present).
10 cutout or lace effect ornaments: two 3" diameter cages, one has a wiseman riding a camel inside; the rest are 2-1/4" diameter with scenes or phrases cut out of the centers on both sides.
The ornaments are all in very good vintage condition with only minor wear from age and handling. Nothing is broken or damaged. This set would be perfect for a vintage aluminum Christmas tree, or a pet and toddler safe "unbreakable" tree.

3 Porcelain Christmas Angel Bell Ornaments
I love these little 1950s angel bell ornaments - I call them the Uh-Oh girls. Don't the open O-mouth expressions on their faces say "Uh-oh, we've been caught red-handed"? Whatever they've been up to, they're simply adorable.
About 1-5/8" tall, each angel holds a different item - a star, candle, or gift, and each has a colored satin ribbon tie (worn and faded now, and one is almost completely gone, only the knot remains). One is missing her ceramic clapper, the other two make a little tinkling ring when shaken. None have any chips, cracks, or flakes. Marked Japan in red on the insides. Price is for the set of three.
