3 Dimensional German Plastic Angel in Moon Christmas Ornament This is an early plastic Christmas ornament, made in pre-war Germany. It's a 3-dimensional diorama style ornament with a curly haired cherub or angel holding a lute inside a yellow moon shaped circle, 1-3/4" diameter. A thin gold cord is attached to the top loop for hanging.

The angel is wonderfully detailed and hand painted. It's in good condition with no chips, cracks, or damage, however it has some soiling to the face and bare feet and should be cleaned (try just a q-tip and water first as I'm not sure whether the angel's paint will survive anything stronger). The ornament is marked on the back Made In Germany.

Beautiful Bubble Angels Plastic Christmas Ornaments in Original Box This set of exceptionally nice vintage plastic Christmas ornaments consists of six pretty musical angel figures encased in big clear plastic bubbles. The angels are arranged in a type of diorama scene inside the transparent ball with gold pine trees in the backgrounds. Each is encircled by gold filigree plastic braid.

The ornaments are 4" diameter and have satin hanging cords tied to the tops. Each angel wears a different colored gown and plays a different musical instrument. They come in the original plain cardboard box with a label marked Made in Hong Kong. The ornaments are in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or damage other than an occasional rub mark or light scratch.

Porcelain Angel With Horn Wired Tulle Wings Clip On Christmas Ornament This clip-on ceramic musical angel figurine Christmas ornament was made in 1950s Japan. About 3-3/4" high, she has wired tulle wings decorated with glitter and holds a musical horn instrument in her raised arms. A metal spring clip is attached to her back so that she can decorate your Christmas tree as an ornament, or adorn a wreath or other decoration. She also stands upright as a figurine. Marked Japan in red on the underside, the angel is in excellent condition with no damage or crazing, and little if any wear to the gold trim. Ideal for display year round as the gold and white colors are not specific to Christmas only.

1920s Composition Trembling Devil Halloween Ornament Spring Limbs This terrific old trembling devil Halloween figure was found in a box of antique Christmas ornaments. It was made in Japan and dates to the 1920s. The body is made of a cement-like composition material with a thin, delicate coating of painted gesso, some of which has chipped off as shown. The devils is about 4-1/2" high with hand painted face and black composition hands and feet on wired spring arms and legs. The limbs shake and jiggle when hung from the original knitted cotton cord attached to the head.

Box 10 Decorated Honeycomb Paper Christmas Bell Ornaments A boxed set of ten vintage honeycomb paper Christmas ornaments in the shape of bells. They're decorated with gold glitter, foil flower stars, and silvered mercury glass beads, about 2-1/4" diameter. Each has a gold cord hanger. There are two each red, green, white, and pink, and one each blue and yellow. The bells are in excellent condition considering their age and fragile nature with only one ornament missing a foil decoration. The box cover has been taped and I cannot tell if it's original to the bells.

Sealed Package Shiny Brite Chenille Clay Face Santa Angel Figures This package of Shiny Brite chenille Christmas package ties has never been opened and is an amazing find. Inside are at least 12 chenille figures and decorations, four of them clay face Santa Claus figures. Two of the Santa faces are on red and white chenille stars with mercury glass beads at the points, hand painted molded clay faces, and real cotton beards. There are two other chenille Santas with red chenille bodies, arms, and legs, pointy chenille caps, and cotton beards. They hold green chenille trees in one hand and are just over 3" tall.

I can also see two chenille candy canes with foil holly leaves in the bag, a pair of little chenille pixie elves with spun cotton faces and mercury glass bead hands, two white brushy chenille snowmen with top hats and spun cotton heads holding chenille candy canes, and two chenille angels in pink and blue holding candles. The cardboard package header says "Christmas Package Ties, A Shiny-Brite Product, Japan". The figures are in perfect, mint condition inside the never-opened package.

Lot Colorful Retro Plastic Christmas Ornaments and Bead Garland This attractive 22 piece assortment of plastic Christmas decorations dates to the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The 8-1/2 foot long multi-colored beaded garland looks just like glass - you won't know they're plastic until you touch them. It's in like-new condition with no finish wear.

I put a quarter in the photo of the three pink, green, and red faceted jewel tone plastic snowflakes to show their large size - 7-1/2" by 8" diameter. They have holes at the center and hanging loops on two ends.

The four 2-1/2" striped bell ornaments have metallic finish coloring but are plastic. The mirrored red disco ball ornament is also 2-1/2" diameter.

The five red long teardrop or icicle ornaments are 5" long, made by Jewelbrite. The backs are reflective, the fronts transparent. These can be snapped apart so you can put tinsel or other decorations inside. The 4-1/2" gold prism drop is also a Jewel Brite ornament. There are two transparent twisted icicle ornaments, 2-3/4" long. I included them because I thought they were plastic but they are actually glass.

Finally there are five unusual acrylic animal ornaments - a mouse, a swan, an elephant, a cat, and a deer, about 3" high. Molded of some type of hard plastic or resin, they have embedded wire hooks and are marked Made In Hong Kong.

One of the red teardrops has a minor heat mark on the back and the bells have slight wear to the painted stripes. Otherwise everything is in very good to excellent vintage condition.

Box Bradford Italian Plastic Teapot or Mushroom House Christmas Ornaments In the early and mid 1960s, Italian manufacturers experimented with making quality plastic Christmas ornaments that looked like delicate hand blown glass. They did a great job of it too but the trend must not have lasted very long, as you don't find them as often as other Italy ornaments of the era. This box of six house or cottage ornaments was made for Bradford in Italy. Unless you pick them up and tap them, or drop them onto concrete and marvel that they didn't break, you'd swear they were glass.

The ornaments look like teapot cottages with different front and back views, though they could be mushrooms. They're just under 3" high, decorated in colorful silvered reflective shades of blue, dark pink/red, gold and silver with white mica and gold glitter trim. They're in excellent condition with no damage or finish wear, and come in their original Bradford Novelty box. Box is in good condition with slight age wear and faint descriptive writing down the side edge of the lid, cellophane window is intact.

Honeycomb Paper Snowman Christmas Ornaments in Original Box This box of six decorated honeycomb paper snowmen Christmas ornaments was made in Japan in the 1950s to early 1960s. Each charming snowman is 3 inches high, decorated with glitter, paper eyes, a lacquered bead nose, and a chenille cane. Their hats are different colors, two each blue, green, and red. Each has a gold cord for hanging on the tree.

The snowmen are in very good vintage condition, a bit of light crushing here and there to the hats, and one has a chipped nose. The original box is intact but the cellophane windows are pretty much gone.

Box Jewel Brite 3D Angel Scene Plastic Christmas Ornaments A boxed set of four 1960s Jewel Brite or Jewelbrite by Decor acrylic transparent ornaments, circa 1960s. They are faceted (the backs look like big pointed rhinestones) and have cutouts in the centers with 3-dimensional plastic angels and tinsel inside each. The inner backs are mirrored, reflecting light and creating depth. The ornaments are about 3-1/2" diameter. The box is intact but the center shelf has some wear, the ornaments are in excellent vintage condition.

4 Porcelain Christmas Angel Bell Ornaments I love these little 1950s angel bell ornaments - I call them the Uh-Oh girls. Don't the open O-mouth expressions on their faces say "Uh-oh, we've been caught red-handed"? Whatever they've been up to, they're simply adorable.

About 1-5/8" tall, each angel holds a different item - a star, candle, or gift, and each has a colored satin ribbon tie (worn and faded now, and one is almost completely gone, only the knot remains). One is missing her ceramic clapper, the other two make a little tinkling ring when shaken. None have any chips, cracks, or flakes. Marked Japan in red on the insides.

**Update: Update: I've added a fourth angel bell to the group, shown in the first and last pictures. She's very similar to the other three but a little larger. Excellent condition with clapper intact. I've dropped the price a bit too.

Dozen 1950s Red, Blue, Silver Striped Plastic Christmas Ornaments Twelve unusual plastic Christmas ornaments from the late 1940s to early 1950s. They're round and transparent, six red and six blue with vertical metallic silver stripes. The paint used to make the stripes must have some real silver content, as there is a slight patina effect from tarnishing. The ornaments are about 2-1/4" diameter and in good condition with no cracks or chips.

Vintage Christmas Corsage and Floral Craft Items Lot A 25 piece assortment of vintage Christmas craft and floral items, perfect for crafting your own holiday decorations. Described in order starting with the second photo:

Nine foil and tinsel flowers, most with mercury bead centers, all with wire stems. Three gold rose shapes about 3-1/2" diameter, two metallic blue flowers with tinsel loops and multiple bead centers, two white and silver flowers, one tinsel and bead flower (damaged paper petals), and one small red flower.

Pretty Japan-made corsage with tiny real pine cones, red tinsel and foil paper leaves, lacquered berries, plastic flower and stain ribbon. About 5" by 4" not including the stem.

Various bell ornaments and decorations: pick with 2 plastic "lace" bells and holly, gold jingle bells with rayon rope loop and velour leaves and ribbon, three tiny chenille stemmed sugar bells with mercury bead clappers, single blue metal bell, three aluminum bells tied together, 1-3/4" sugar bell with chenille tie stem and red mercury ornament clapper.

Blue felt angel with spun cotton head about 2-1/2" diameter, 3" red bottle brush wreath with mercury bead ornaments and red/silver stain ribbon - has a chained metal bell tied to the hanging ribbon, 2-3/4" long stuffed felt bird ornament with beads and sequins.

Two floral picks with plastic leaves and red lacquer berries, 3 large red lacquer berries with wire stems, unopened packaged Commodore "Holly Spray Gift Card Decoration" with plastic holly and poinsettia, reindeer in the center plus a foil card.

Any damage is noted above, otherwise the items are in good vintage condition.

1930s Gold Tinsel and Silver Foil Candy Container Christmas Ornament Made in the mid 1930s, this old American made Christmas ornament has a 2 inch round silver foil candy container center surrounded by loops of antique gold wired feather tinsel roping. A lacquered composition red berry hangs from the bottom. The ornament measures 5" long overall by about 3" wide. The original paper label with a U.S. patent number dating to 1934 is still attached to the top of the foil ball.

The seams around the container as well as the foil are fully intact. I haven't opened it as the bead clapper and tinsel are wired through the center of the ball. Aside from some tarnish to the tinsel, the ornament is in excellent condition for its age.

Foil and Mercury Glass Christmas Bell Wreath and Ornament Two Mid Century Christmas decorations in metallic foil and colored mercury glass beads or balls. The 8-1/2" diameter wreath has a foil covered cardboard base and is decorated with sturdy silver aluminum star flower reflectors, each with a wired mercury glass bead in the center.A magenta red metallic plastic bell hangs from the center. There is one missing bead, otherwise excellent condition.

The 3" diameter kissing ball type ornament is made the same way, with foil reflectors and larger mercury glass beads. Like the wreath, it has a wire hanger and is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no labels but the decorations were very likely made in Japan.

2 Vintage Christmas Putz Village Cardboard Houses and Bottle Brush Tree Three vintage pieces for your putz Christmas village display. The red-roofed house can stand alone or hang as a tree ornament. It's 3" by 2" by 2" high with applied paper windows and door, coated with crushed mica in white and yellow.

The other building looks like a church, glittered green with a white mica-coated roof. The door and red cellophane windows are intact but there is no base. A hole in the back will take a light bulb. About 3" wide by 2-3/4" high.

The snow-flocked bottle brush tree has a red wooden stand and measures just over 3" high. None of the three pieces are marked but they were likely made in Japan.

Lot of 1970s Natural Style Christmas Ornaments and Decorations with Corn Husk Angels This assortment of vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations is from the late 1960s to mid 1970s era, when natural materials were popular.

There are two corn husk dolls or angels, about 5-1/2" high. They wear red velour aprons and red checked kerchiefs, with tied twig frames around their heads (wings or what, I'm not sure). Each has a gold cord hanger and they are unmarked.

The feathered bird ornament is a mallard duck, 5" long. Wires extend from the webbed plastic feet so you can attach the duck to a tree branch or wreath.

The bottle brush wreath is snow-flocked with a red metallic lamé ribbon and gold cord hanger, 3-1/2" diameter.

Next is a garland of seven frosted plastic bells tied with a lace and ribbon roses bow, still in its original, unopened package. Made in Taiwan.

The last items are all satin-wrapped styrofoam ornaments: an unopened package of six Bradford green balls 1-1/2" diameter, and two bells with jingle bell clappers, one blue, one coral. Each is decorated with gold stars and braid and is 2-1/4" long.

These unusual feather tree sized bell Christmas ornaments look like glass but they're early hard plastic ornaments, dating to the late 1930s, early 1940s. Just 1 inch high, they are transparent inside with an outer iridized "carnival" type metallic finish in shades of red, purple, blue, green, bronze, and silver.

Just over half of the 20 bells have figures and faces carved or molded into both sides: three with bearded gnome-like faces (possibly a version of Santa), five with apes or monkeys, and three with a Cinderella-like girl holding a broom and bucket. Of the remaining 10 bells, 4 are plain, one is pleated, and four have stacked Deco style rings. Each bell has a metal loop hanger. There is minor wear to the metallic finish on the edges of some, otherwise good condition with no cracks or chips.

3 Mica Putz Christmas Village Decorated Houses Ornament Size These little putz type cardboard mica village buildings are so pretty. I think they are mangers or stables, open at the fronts. Each is decorated with various elements like enameled holly leaves, little bottle brush trees, wired mercury beads, and lacquered berries. They're ornament sized (one is missing the top wire hanger), about 2-1/4" wide. The buildings are painted colorfully in green, sage, and pink under the crushed mica glitter. All are in very good vintage condition. One price for all three.

16 Vintage Plastic Bells Christmas Ornaments An assortment of 16 retro Mid Century plastic bell Christmas ornaments. The large 4-1/2" red bell with Santa Claus scenes molded all the way around is musical - there's an on/off switch on the bottom that when flipped on, plays Jingle Bells. It takes 2 AA batteries (not included) and it works fine.

Next are a pair of pretty glittered soft plastic filgree bells on a plastic chain, decorated with holly and berries.

The five 3" sugar bells are covered in silver and gold metallic mesh. They have foil caps, chenille hangers, and mercury glass Christmas ornament clappers.

Four hard plastic colored bells are covered with soft plastic filigree bells - the same type of plastic used to make those super kitschy old plastic doilies our grandmas used. They're about 3" tall.

The last five bells are an assortment of shapes and colors. Three are in metallic colors, one is opaque green. The transparent blue celluloid bell is marked "Genuine Bojo Bell, Hollywood 28, California". Must be a special one!

Figural Yuletide Novelty Ceramic Bells Japan Christmas Ornaments in Original Box The original box to this set of figural porcelain ceramic Christmas bells is pretty trashed, but the eight figural bell ornaments inside are in great shape. About 2-1/4" high, the characters include Santa and Mrs. Claus, three girl angels, a snowman, a winter girl holding a wreath, and a cute elf. All have ceramic clappers inside to make them ring and gold cords at the top (some with additional string added) from which to hang from the Christmas tree.

There are no chips or cracks, and only Mrs. Claus has a bit of wear to her red cold paint - the others are fine. The box lid, marked Yuletide Novelty Tree Ornaments Japan, is torn with lots of tape, not very attractive but it's done the job of protecting the bells over the last 50-odd years.

Mid-Century Reindeer Christmas Ornaments and Decorations, Lot of 7 Seven different reindeer themed Christmas ornaments and decorations from the 1950s to early 1960s. Described in order from the second picture:

Red and white vinyl sawdust-stuffed reindeer figure, about 9" tall to the tops of the antlers. He has felt tongue and eyes and a black plastic button type nose. No tag or marks but I'm pretty sure it was in Japan.

Pair of long legged deer figures, semi-hard plastic coated in a thick layer of gold glitter. Each has a red velvet ribbon with a gold bell around it's neck. 6" tall. Unmarked, probably Japan.

Real eggshell diorama scene ornament, 2-1/4" high. Inside is a plastic reindeer and a miniature bottle brush tree. The egg is decorated with gold braid, sequin trim, and a glitter tree shape on the back. The inside has been painted red.

Jewel Brite diorama style plastic cut-out ornament with forest scene inside of mother deer and baby fawn amid snow and bottle brush trees. The inside is mirrored, the outside is red plastic in a teardrop shape, about 4" high. American made, unmarked.

Hard plastic reindeer tree ornament in shiny metallic silver and blue, 4" high, marked Hong Kong.

Rubber or soft vinyl reindeer figure with tiny metal bell on a chain around it's neck. 3-1/2" high, molded Japan mark on belly. This one was accidentally left out of the main photograph. All of the ornaments and figures are in very good vintage condition with no damage and little if any wear from age or handling.

Chenille and Spun Cotton Yellow Christmas Snowman Figures A pair of cute 1950s chenille snowman Christmas ornaments or figures, with yellow chenille bodies and arms and spun cotton heads. They each have a little chenille candy cane, mercury glass bead decoration, and black chenille and paper top hats. Japan is stamped on the backs of their heads. They're mounted on blunt wooden picks and are 3-1/4" high. Tie a thin cord hanger around their necks to use as Christmas tree ornaments, or insert the pick stems into wreaths or Christmas arrangements. One has some mild age discoloration to his face, otherwise they're in very good vintage condition. Price is for the set of two.

3 Hard Plastic Metallic Santa Claus Christmas Ornaments Three 1950s Santa Claus ornaments made of silvered hard plastic, about 3-1/2" high. The ornaments are hollow. Two are from the same mold but painted differently. The Santa in the center is a bit thinner than the others. None are marked but all are American made. Plastic hanging loops are intact on the tops, good vintage condition with no cracks or chips.
