Musical Tinsel Christmas Tree With Retro Pixie Elves in Original Box This terrific 1960s musical revolving tinsel Christmas tree is 20" tall. The limbs are blue and green metallic foil tinsel, most decorated with a silvered glass ornament ball. The tree rotates and plays Jingle Bells when you wind it up. Best of all, three poseable retro pixie elves sit among the branches, including one at the top of the tree. Each holds something to decorate the tree - a glass ornament, a bell, and a pine cone. Wrapped gifts rest at the base of the tree.

The tree is in excellent vintage condition, displays wonderfully, and the music box works fine. The wooden music box base is marked Japan. The box lid has two corner splits and some storage wear, but the box bottom is intact with the original Made In Japan label on the end.

Box 1950s Italian Pine Cone Elves Gnomes Christmas Lights One of the best Christmas light sets I've ever come across: a near mint early 1950s boxed miniature light set made in Italy with 12 pinecone gnomes or elves holding a candle topped by a mini light bulb. The elves have white mica snow frosted pinecone bodies, real cotton batting beards, and molded clay-like composition hand painted faces. They stand on scalloped mica encrusted cardboard bases decorated with lacquered red berries and sprigs of bottle brush pine. Each one is different (one even has teeth!), and each has a different style or color of paper maché composition hat. The hats have wired loops so you can position them with hooks or wire on the tree branches - with wonderful faces like that, you don't want any of them facing the wall or the inside of the tree!

The gnomes spaced 10 to 12 inches apart on an approximately 18 foot long light string. The box is marked Genuine Italian Miniature Lights, If One or More Go Out the Rest Remain Lit. A sticker on the side of the box reads Style Art. 714, Volts 110 - 120, Made In Italy. The box bottom is in great condition but the lid has some creases and the cellophane window is broken and torn. The cord and plug have no wear, the lights all work perfectly and the gnomes are in wonderful condition with only minor age and storage wear. Truly a rare and special find for the vintage Christmas or pine cone elf collector.

Pixie Elf Circle of Light Lighted Christmas Wreath Tree Topper in Original Box This charming electric pixie elf decoration is from the 1960s. It's called the Pixie Circle of Light Spinning Holiday Light on the box. Red, green, white and gold blinking lights give the effect of "spinning" around the 8" gold tinsel circle which surrounds a rubber-faced pixie head in the center.
The wreath can be hung on a tree, mantle, wall, or in a window, or used as a Christmas tree topper. The wreath is in perfect working condition in the original box. It works fine as you can see and has no damage or wear. The box has a tape mark on the lid but is in good condition with no tears.

West Germany Pinecone Gnome Elf Christmas Mobile This unusual Mid Century holiday decoration from West Germany is a hanging mobile with five pine cone gnomes on skis. The gnomes or elves are about 3 inches high, each with a different color of felt cap and matching chenille arms. They carry felt and wood picks, hatchets, and axes. The black skis are flocked cardboard, heads and feet are pressed or spun cotton, bodies are real pine cones. The gnomes have cotton beards, painted closed eyes, and red lacquered berry noses.

The center wire bar is about 8-1/2" wide, with the gnomes hanging from smaller bars, the lowest about 16" below the top. The thin nylon hanging line is a bit tangled on one side and I did not have the patience to detangle it for the pictures, but the mobile is very cute when hanging. I had it fixed once, but if there's a way to get them back in the box without tangling the line, I don't know what it is, so the new owner will have to deal with that. The gnomes are in good vintage condition, light wear but no damage. The original box bottom marked West Germany is present but there is no lid.

1960s Red and White Large Christmas Pixie Elf With Candy Cane This retro Japan Christmas pixie elf figure is dressed in red and white felt with a metallic gold bow and belt. He holds a big striped candy cane in his arms and has poseable wired legs. With his knees bent as shown in the pictures, the pixie is 9-1/2" long - he'd probably be 12 inches with legs outstretched. He's in very good vintage condition and has seen little if any use. In fact, he comes with his original opened plastic wrapper and cardboard package header - neither is in very good condition but they attest to the fact that the pixie has been kept in nearly mint condition.

3 Christmas Putz Chenille Spun Cotton Figures Gnomes on Skis A trio of Mid Century Japan Christmas elf, dwarf, or gnome putz figures on skis. The skis are damaged but are repairable, or you may wish to take them off entirely - the gnomes themselves are in very good vintage condition. The blue dwarf holds a horn, the white one has a paper accordion and black plastic top hat with white cotton hair.

They have spun cotton ball bodies and feet, chenille arms and beards, and expressive hand painted hard plastic faces. One has the front of one white mica encrusted ski broken off, another the backs of his skis missing, the white gnome has both skis intact but with slight bends.

Two Chenille Pixie Elves in Boot Christmas Candy Container A pair of cute 1960s pixie elves peeking out of a white plastic boot Christmas candy container. About 5-1/2" tall, the boot is decorated with lacquered holly and berries and metallic gold eyelash braid. The little pixies have red lamé hats, white felt scarves, and red chenille bodies. The boot is marked Japan. The berries have some flaking of the red lacquer finish and the red chenille has faded some in color, otherwise the decoration is in very good condition.

Pixie Elves Tinsel Door Tree or Wall Hanger in Original Box This cute 1960s door or wall Christmas tree decoration is made up of aluminum tinsel tree branches decorated with flocked red berry ornaments and two knee hugger pixie elves sitting among the branches. At the base is a big red velour bow and a pair of flocked red boots dangling beneath. Total length is 22 inches. The tree isn't spread out much in the pictures, you can make it appear much fuller. The back is flat to hang on your door, window, or wall. There are two wire hangers in the box to make a stand or slip over the top of a door. The pixie tree comes in its original candy cane striped box marked Made In Japan. Very good vintage condition with no damage, minimal wear to box and flocked decorations.

Gold Tinsel Retro Tabletop Christmas Tree With Pixie Elves and Beads in Box This 1960s Japan gold foil tinsel tabletop Christmas tree is decorated with plastic face pixie elves and gold mercury glass beads in the centers of the tinsel flowers. The tree is nearly 18 inches tall and stands on a gold painted wooden base.Three of the pixies are faces only, attached by their white felt collars. Two more are full figured with red chenille arms and legs. The red chenille has faded with age, otherwise the tree is in good condition. The tree comes in its original box - the bottom is intact but the cover is in worn condition with edge tears and missing cellophane.

Fairy Light Tales Lighted Christmas Santa Sleigh With Pixies in Original Box This 1960s lighted Christmas mantle or tabletop decoration is still in its original box labeled "Fairy Light Tales Santa Sleigh Light Set". It was made in Japan for Radiant Decorative Lights of Bronx New York in the 1960s. It features a plastic faced Santa Claus figure in his foil covered wooden sleigh driven by two plastic reindeer figures with a pair of poseable plastic, felt, and chenille pixie elves assisting. The sleigh is filled with foil wrapped gift packages and a green tinsel bottle brush tree. There are lots of charming little details such as metal bells around the reindeers' necks, tinsel and gold braid reins, and a mesh toy sack at the back of the sleigh with a chenille angel and cute chenille teddy bear peeking out the top.

The sleigh decoration is about 14-1/2" long by 5" high. It lights up fine and is in excellent condition with very little wear. The box has a little storage wear but is intact. The picture shows a different style of reindeer but the box is original to the set.
