4 Packages Vintage Gold Foil and Bead Craft Flowers
Four sealed packages of vintage floral craft flowers in bright metallic gold lamé foil with gold bead centers. There are six flowers per package on foil-wrapped wire stems, each about 1-3/4" diameter. The flower petals are shaped like poinsettias, making them ideal for Christmas wreaths and ornaments or package decorations. They are unused and still in their sealed packages from a Utah craft store that went out of business in the late 1960s. Six sets of four packages (24 flowers) available, price is per set.
Circa: 1960s

Foil Christmas Tree Corsage Pick with Mercury Glass Ornaments
This fancy old Christmas tree decoration could have been meant as a corsage, a package decoration, or a floral pick item. It's a dimensional metallic green foil tree decorated with wired garlands of colored mercury glass beads in three sizes, smallest to largest from top to bottom. The tree is similar to a honeycomb type paper decoration with a flat back. It's about 2-3/4" high from the tip to the lower branches by 3" at the widest point. A silver foil covered wire extends from the back center. Unmarked but undoubtedly made in Japan during the late 1940s to mid 1950s, it's really a beautiful and unusual vintage Christmas item.

Foil and Mercury Glass Vintage Christmas Tree Decoration
This beautiful vintage fancy Christmas tree was probably made as a package, wreath, or table decoration. It's a flat-backed, gold metallic foil-over-cardboard tree shape decorated with foil flowers, lacquered holly leaves, and colorful mercury glass beads wired into flower shapes. It measures 6" high by a little over 5" wide overall. The flowers and beads are in good condition with typical light wear to the colors and inner mercury silvering of the beads. The lacquer holly leaves have slight chipping to the upper tips. The foil tree has some bumping to the points and a few minor creases but is not torn. The back has brown streaks from old cellophane tape that has darkened with age. It was made in Japan no later than the mid-1950s, perhaps earlier.

Musical Tinsel Christmas Tree Loaded With Retro Pixies, Elves
This terrific vintage musical revolving tinsel Christmas tree came with three or four pixie elves glued to the branches and base. As a pixie collector myself, my motto is that you can never have too many, so I added a few more. The tree is between 17" and 20" tall, depending on how high you extend the top center branch. The limbs are blue and green metallic foil tinsel, each ends in a gold glass silvered ornament ball (all but two are original). The tree rotates and plays Jingle Bells when you wind it up.
The base is decorated with a tinsel and glittery cardboard drum, a spun cotton Santa gnome peeking out of a paper brick chimney, a foil and velvet wrapped package, and a great pixie in a drum figure with chenille arms and body.
In the tree branches are two knee hugger style pixies, one holding a real pine cone, the other holding a bell ornament, a funky skinny skating Santa pixie, a little cloth face with yarn hair pixie elf at the top, and two package tie-on type pixie heads with polka dot caps and scarfs. The tree is in good vintage condition, displays wonderfully, and the music box works. The wooden music box base is marked Japan. The figures that were added by me are not glued or otherwise permanently attached so you can position them as you like.

Crystal Pine 1950s Christmas Tree and Candleholders Boxed Centerpiece Set
This is one of those wonderful vintage Christmas items that people brought out to display at the holidays for years and years. It's the Crystal Pine Centerpiece set by Peerless Mfg. Co. of Waukesha, Wisconsin, made in the late 1940s to early 1950s. The box says the tree and candleholders are made of "Brilliant Styrene" - clear hard plastic with embossed pine branches.
The tree stands a little over 11" high when assembled, the star shaped candle holders are 6-1/4" diameter. A tiny colored mercury glass bead ornament dangles from each of the 48 branch tips (the extras shown in the photos were used to replace missing beads - there were just enough).
The tree has 9 separate layers plus the ringed dome stand. I don't see any chips or cracks, and all the pieces are present except the candles that originally came in the box. The set even comes with an 8 by 6 inch glass mirror on which to set the tree - something the original owner probably added, as there's no mention of a mirror on the box. The candle holders have traces of red staining from candle wax. The box has minor soiling and wear from age and storage but is intact with no tears.

Little Boy Angel 1950s Christmas Bell
A sweet little boy angel bell for Christmas, made in Japan circa 1950, possibly earlier. The cute little guy is has his hands clasped to his chest and his eyes closed, with an open O shaped mouth. Adding to his charm are two gold smudges of "dirt" on his nose and cheek (put there on purpose of course). The bell is just under 3" high and is marked Japan in red on the inside. The original ceramic bead clapper is intact, and the bell has no chips, flakes, or scratches to the paint. An old green satin ribbon is tied to the top so you can hang your angel from the Christmas tree.

Dozen Triple Layer Metallic Foil Christmas Light Reflectors Collars
This is an assortment of 12 metal foil reflector collars which fit behind the bulbs of standard size Christmas tree light strings to magnify and reflect the light and colors. They range from 3-3/4" to 4-1/2" diameter. There are three styles, all triple layered.
The four brightly colored flower shaped reflectors are made of thin foil and marked Germany. They are crinkled and show quite a bit more wear than the others but are still intact and usable. These are considerably older than the others and date to the 1930s.
Next are four heavier 1950s foil 5-point star reflectors with flower center layers. One each gold, blue, green, and pink (the colored layer is sandwiched between two silver layers). The last four are triple flower petal shape in red, gold, pink and blue. All eight of the heavier type have either specks of snow flocking or what appears to be candle wax but are otherwise in good vintage condition.
Circa: 1920s - 1950s

Nativity Scene Child's Christmas Revolving Music Box Figurine
This charming little music box features a Nativity scene of Mary, Joseph, a lamb and Baby Jesus as portrayed by children. It stands 6-1/2" high by 4-1/2" diameter at the base. The figures revolve to the tune Oh Little Town of Bethlehem when the music box is wound up. It's made of lightweight plaster or hollow chalkware, handpainted and glazed. The little foil label on the underside is impossible to see in my photo due to its location - it reads "Hand Made In Japan" around the initials MY in a circle. In excellent condition with no damage.

Commodore Christmas Poinsettia Angel Candle Climbers Holders Boxed Set
A wonderful 4 piece boxed ceramic Christmas candle climber and candlestick set by Commodore, made in 1950s Japan. Attached to the two holly leaf taper candle holders by gold colored metal chain are sweet boy and girl angel figurines that hug or climb the candle above the vase. The angels are dressed in the popular poinsettia flower outfits with red petal bottomed jacket and dress and poinsettia hats. Both of the holders have gold foil Commodore labels.
There are no chips, flakes, cracks, or crazing and the chain is intact with no damage. There are the usual typical Mid Century MIJ paint flaws here and there - strays specks of paint, tiny skips and the like. These items were made as dime store fodder and quality control was not always a top priority. The angels' faces could use a mild cleaning and a smudge or two of candle wax can be detected. The box has been covered in clear tape, apparently to repair a tear to the back hinge crease. The label on the box reads "Poinsettia Angel Climbers and Candle Bases, Commodore Product, 4 Pcs Set #3056, Made In Japan".
Circa: 1950s
