It has a scalloped and hammered double rim and is 11-1/2" diameter. A hanging hook is attached to the back. Craftsman Studios Copper Tray with Desert Cactus Scene
Beautiful 1920s copper serving tray by Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach California, 11-1/2" diameter not including the raised handles. In the center is a stylized Western desert scene of cactus, sagebrush, mountains and sun in a triangle. Someone polished the tray long ago - you can see the white polish residue in the tool mark seams of the design, but it's re-developing a warm patina. There are no scratches or dings, the tray is in very good condition. Marked with the hammer and anvil logo "Craftsman Studios, Hand Made at Laguna Beach, Calif." and numbered 901.
Circa: 1920s

Gregorian Copper Large Hammered Shallow Crimped Bowl
This extra large Mid Century shallow copper bowl was made by Gregorian Copper. It measures 15" diameter and has a hammered finish with a lotus 4-petal crimped rim. The shape is a bit free form, intentionally out of round with irregular depth. There are a few minor marks to the lacquered finish but they're not noticeable and the bowl displays wonderfully. There's a hanger on the back so you can display it as a wall charger. Unmarked and missing the label but unmistakably Gregorian.
Circa: 1950s - 1960s

Primitive Style Copper Water Pot or Ibrik with Iron Handle
This primitive looking iron-handled copper pot is a water pot or ibrik for making Turkish coffee. It looks very old but was probably made for the Middle Eastern tourist trade.
The pot is 6-1/4" tall by about 4" diameter just above the base. The handle is 5" long. The pot comes with a fitted copper lid. Cosmetically it's in great condition but the interior is quite corroded and dirty inside - you won't want to actually use it for anything but display unless you really clean it out.

Copper Whale Tabletop Decorative Weathervane
This vintage table top weathervane decoration features a solid copper whale figure on a brass stand with a copper ball finial below the whale. It stands 13-3/4" high, the whale itself is 12" wide. The whale can rotate on the stand 360 degrees when turned. There are no directional arms.
The whale has a dent on one side of its body and an area of spotty tarnish on the other, but the wear is consistent with the period look of the weathervane and is not objectionable. There are no markings indicating origin or maker but I believe it dates to the 1970s.
Circa: 1970s

Persian Islamic Copper Covered Dish or Pot
This old covered copper dish or pot has a hand chased organic design on the sides and lid which is probably Persian. The two cast metal handles are not brass, nor are they iron - they appear to be some sort of bronze alloy. The inside is lined in either tin or zinc, but I would be wary of cooking or serving food in the pot. It's 4" high to the top of the lid, just over 2" deep to the rim, and about 6-3/4" diameter not including the handles. Unsigned of course, age undetermined but probably not later than 1930s.
Circa: Pre-1930

Childs Toy Copper 4 Piece Turkish Coffee Set
A child size Turkish Coffee set in solid copper for play or display. I purchased the set used at a flea market in Seattle in the 1980s and was never sure if it was just a decorative item or actually produced as a toy, nor if the pieces actually belong together or were a marriage. I assume it dates to the 1970s or late 1960s though it may be older.
The set includes a 7" diameter embossed tray, a 2-1/8" deep wooden-handled Ibrik pot with pour spout , an unhandled 1-3/4" high cup, and a 3-3/4" saucer. All of the pieces are solid but light weight copper, with only the handled pot being tin lined. The tray has a few minor dings due to the softness of the copper, but otherwise the set is in very good condition. None of the pieces are marked but I believe it was made in India.

Utah Bronzed Souvenir Pin Tray or Dresser Dish
This circa 1950s souvenir tray of Utah was made in Japan. It's metal with a bronzed or copper plated finish, and measures 7-1/4" by 4-3/4". Depicted in raised relief are the Utah state flower and bird, and several tourist attractions: Vernal (Dinosaurland), the state Capitol, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Bingham copper mine, and the Mormon temple and tabernacle.
The tray has a hanger on the back so it can be displayed on the wall. The prominent dinosaur in the center gives it a certain funky kitsch appeal. In very good condition, no damage noted.

Tropical Island Caribbean Woman Tooled Copper Relief Framed Picture
This vintage hand tooled embossed copper relief picture depicts a tropical island woman, presumably Jamaican or Carribean, with palm trees and tropical foliage in the background. The scantily clad lady wears a sarong and balances a basket of fruit on her head.
The picture is 8 by 10 inches, in a standard ribbed wooden frame that has been painted a copper color that closely matches the copper metal sheet. The artwork is very well done, an enormous amount of fine detail was given to the scene. You can see the muscles and curve of the woman's tummy, the flowered pattern on her skirt, even her toenails.
The frame is in decent, displayable condition with a wire hanger on back but it does have some scuffs to the paint and the inside of the glass looks like it needs to be cleaned. The tooled copper picture itself is in excellent condition.

Egyptian Prince Mixed Metals Wall Charger Plate
A decorative wall hanging charger depicting an Egyptian prince, done in inlaid copper and brass over silver. The 11" diameter plate is decorated with finely chased Egyptian symbols and designs. It's in very good condition with no dents or dings, though there are some specks of tarnish near the center which should come off easily with an application of copper or metal cleaner. Unmarked, likely of Arab origin circa 1940s.
