Craftsman Hammered Copper Electric Table Lamp
This Mission Arts and Crafts style copper desk or table lamp was made by the former Craftsman Studios of Los Angeles and Laguna Beach California, under their Craftsmen Inc. mark. It's a hurricane style electric lamp with glass chimney, crimped and hammered dome copper base with handle, and copper shade,
The lamp is about 10" tall to the top of the chimney by 8" diameter at the base. It has an antique silk wrapped cord with a brown Bakelite plug. The silk threads on the cord are frayed but the lamp does work. It looks as though the socket was replaced by a non-professional who did not update the wiring at the same time and I recommend rewiring for safety. The base and shade have a few dark tarnish spots and some uneven patina but there are no dents or dings. The base is marked on the underside with the hammer and anvil logo Craftsmen Inc. Hand Made and numbered 136.

Antique Copper Electric Warming Stand with Sternau Chafing Dish
The General Electric hot plate warmer that came with this circa 1910 chafing dish is a marriage, but they display nicely together. The 3-part 9-1/2" diameter, nickel lined chafing dish set is marked S. Sternau & Co. New York. In good condition with no damage though the lid has some pinprick specks of paint spatter.
The 3-legged copper warming stand is no doubt older than the chafing dish and may have belonged to one of those big, ornate turn of the century copper coffee urns. It's 5" high with a 6" diameter heating surface. The spring decoration in front controls a sliding on/off switch and temperature gauge (low, med, high). The thick cloth-covered electrical cord doesn't have a normal plug - instead, there's a ceramic bulb that appears to screw into a lamp socket to obtain power. It's marked on the underside G.E. Co., U.S.A. Type (blank) Amp 5.4 Volts 110. Cosmetically it's in wonderful condition and will display beautifully, but I did not test it to see if it still works.
