Ohio Art Tin Litho Metal Flowers Watering Can
This attractive tin litho vintage child's watering can was made by Ohio Art. It has a colorful garden scene of flowers and honeybees on both sides. The background is white, the trim on the sprinkler neck, top, and handle are spring green. There is minor yellowish staining inside at the bottom edges, but it's not rust - it actually looks like glue from manufacture, or just something that spilled. It does not show unless you look down inside the can. A bit of ancient yellow glue from the original store price sticker is visible on one upper side, I didn't try to remove it for fear of damaging the perfect litho graphics. There is some very light rub wear around the side edges of the handle and around the rim of the sprinkler head, otherwise the waterer is in very good condition, the graphics still bold and colorful. 9 inches tall to top of handle by 10-1/2" wide spout to handle.
Circa: 1950s - 1960s

Antique Whitewashed Woven Wood Picnic Basket
A wonderful old white washed woven wood picnic basket with a great primitive look from a Montana estate, 13-1/2" by 12" by 8" high not including the two bentwood swing handles. The lid is secured by two metal hinges at the back and a metal hook and eye closure at the front. I'm not sure if the whitewash paint is original but it looks it - it's definitely old, not applied recently. The bottom of the basket has one broken slat, not all the way across so it still holds - see the closeup photo.

Craftsman Studios No. 341 Copper Watering Can
This hand wrought solid copper watering can was made by Craftsman Studios of Laguna Beach California under their Craftsmen Inc. trademark. It has folded seams and a crimped rim, measuring 4-3/4" high by 9-1/2" wide from spout to handle. There's a copper spacer bar between the body and spout for strength, a feature not found on any of the several other styles of Arts and Crafts copper watering cans made by Craftsman.
More than just a display piece, the plant waterer was used and has normal signs of wear: green verdigris inside, a slight age film near the handle and base and a tiny ding on the underside, not visible unless turned over. The underside is marked with the classic hammer and anvil logo, the words "Craftsmen Inc. Hand Made", and numbered 341. A fine piece of Mission style Arts and Crafts copper for your collection.
Circa: 1930s - 1940s
