Fairy Light Santa's Workshop Pixie Elves Tinsel Tabletop Christmas Tree Set Boxed
This wonderful tabletop lighted Christmas tree decoration dates to the early 1960s. It's a green and blue aluminum tinsel tree, about 20 inches tall, decorated with mini lights, gold mercury glass bead ornaments and an angel tree topper. Leaning against the tree is a ladder with three climbing skinny pixie elves holding spun cotton lanterns. Another elf and a Santa Claus figure, both also holding lights, stand at the base of the tree.
The set comes in its original box with setup instructions on the outside of the box. The tree and figures are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and use, the only things I noted were a spot on the angel's dress and one pixie missing his spun cotton lantern. One light has burned out but the other bulbs stay lit and of course all the bulbs are replaceable. At the base of the tree are two wrapped gifts that were once glued down, they are now loose. The box has storage wear but is intact. The box says "Fairy Light Tales, Santa's Workshop, Electrically Illuminated". It was made in Japan for Radiant Decorative Lights of Bronx New York.

12 Antique German Foil Christmas Light Reflectors
One dozen old foil Christmas tree light bulb reflector collars, plus a spare, made in Germany in the 1920s to 1930s. They are triple layered in colorful star and flower shapes, 3-1/2" to 3-3/4" diameter. The backs of the pressed cardboard composition centers are marked Germany (most are, some of the markings have worn off from age and handling).
The colored metallic foil is thinner and lighter than modern reflectors, and it was easily damaged. All have crinkling and creases or bends to some extent, five reflectors have small, minor tears to the outer petals. The thirteenth reflector is considerably damaged (upper right corner in the photo). The others are all useable and the center collar rings are all intact.
Circa: 1920s - 1930s

12 Vintage Punched Tin Christmas Light Reflectors
One dozen early metal Christmas tree light reflectors in punched tin (the holes do not go all the way through the metal). I found them in one of my Christmas books identified as Diamond Ray brand, circa 1927. Some (the rounded flower petal style) are marked on the back "Patents Allowed And Pend.".
There are four different star and poinsettia or flower designs, three of each, roughly 3" or so diameter and surprisingly heavy, at least in comparison to later foil reflectors. There is some expected darkening of the metal but no rust, breaks, or bends.
Circa: 1920s

Lighted Red Cellophane Christmas Angel Wreath in Original Box
This vintage electric cellophane Christmas wreath was made by Timco in the 1940s to early 1950s. It's about 10" diameter, wrapped with opaque bright red cut cellophane and has a thin, hollow plastic angel figure in the center that illuminates when the wreath is plugged in. There was apparently a foil poinsettia or other decoration at the base of the angel that is no longer present, but you can easily add a bow or decoration of your choice there (or leave it as is for that matter).
The cord is 32" long and in great condition with no breaks, and it's still nice and flexible (some of these old rubber coated cords get hard and brittle with age). The Bakelite plug is fine too. The light bulb works fine, the angel has no cracks or bends, and the wreath is in excellent condition with the exception of the missing foil decoration. It comes with its original cardboard Timco box which is intact but has staining and wear from age and storage.
Circa: 1940s

20 Vintage Foil Christmas Light Reflectors
These 3" diameter round rayed metal Christmas light reflector collars aren't marked, but they were made in the 1950s to early 1960s by Doubl-Glo. There are 20 of them, made of sturdy foil in bright colors of blue, red, green, and yellow-gold. They're designed to slip over the necks of standard Christmas tree light bulbs to enhance and reflect the light. There are a few minor crinkles to some of them, but overall they're in very good condition with no tears or color wear.

Mr Christmas Red Tinsel Twin Star Lighted Tree Topper Decoration Boxed
This beautiful Mr. Christmas lighted tree top decoration is the same on both sides. It's in the shape of a dimensional 8-pointed star with clear red plastic jewels arranged in a beaded effect at the spikes of the stars, spiral red plastic center ornaments, and transparent red miniature lights, all surrounded by lush, red metallic foil tinsel.
The box is dated 1976 and marked Made in Taiwan. The wreath lights up fine though one bulb lights only occasionally, it either needs to be tightened or replaced and the cord is in good condition. The box lid is torn at the window opening and is missing the cellophane but the box bottom is intact.

This funky, retro little table top Christmas tree was made with bent wire coat hangers, metallic silver tinsel garland, and a string of colored miniature Christmas lights. It's 16" high by about 12" diameter at the base. It comes with 21 miniature 1" diameter satin-wrapped styrofoam ornaments, eight of which are glued onto the tree, the others I added and hung with hooks.
The first picture shows the tree lit up (it's brighter than it looks, there was too much light when I took the photos). As you can see, all the lights work fine but be aware the plug is the older non-polarized type. The tree is in very good condition though you'll probably want to fluff up the tinsel a bit and maybe adjust the lights so they all show through the tinsel.
Circa: 1970s

Green Tinsel Bells Circle of Lights Electric Wreath Tree Topper in Box
This lighted tinsel wreath decoration is part of a series of "Circle of Light" Christmas decorations. Other styles had candles or figures like elves or Santas in the center. This one has two brass bells with metal clappers dangling from the center, tied with a red ribbon and lacquered holly and berries. The green lights, crystal flower reflectors, and bright green tinsel are very pretty and festive, even when the lights are off.
The box says it's for windows, walls, or doors but my parents used theirs as a tree topper. The wreath lights up fine and is in good condition, though the red flannel ribbon shows some wear. The box has quite a bit of storage and handling wear but is intact.
Circa: 1970s

Manufacturer: 1970s Taiwan Import

Fancy Gold Mesh Tinsel Lighted Christmas Candle Wreath
This fancy, glittery metallic electric Christmas candle wreath dates to the 1960s. The 14" diameter cardboard base is decorated with feathery gold metallic tinsel trim. In the center are a pair of mesh-covered candles illuminated with gold Christmas light bulbs. The base has a metallic red Punchinello bow trimmed with four gold mercury glass ball ornaments (Punchinello is the stuff that's left over after stamping out sequins, by the way - it was a popular craft and floral ribbon in the Sixties).
The candles light up fine as you can see, though you may wish to replace the old Bakelite non-polarized plug for safety. The gold feather trim around the circular wreath base was wired on and it looks like someone taped the edges in place in a few spots at the back. The back has some bare spots with cardboard showing but they don't show from the front. The red metallic ribbon has been somewhat flattened from storage and the gold mesh has a few breaks, but the wreath still displays nicely.
Circa: 1960s

Hard Plastic Santa Claus Christmas Light Cover or Tree Top Decoration
This vintage hard plastic Santa Claus figure has rabbit fur trim and a jingle bell tied to his hanger with red cotton cord. The back has an opening for a light bulb, with a coiled wire spring inside to hold the bulb in place. You can use him as a normal light cover in a Christmas display or on a strategic spot on your tree, or even as a tree topper decoration.
Santa is 4-3/4" tall not including the hanging hook. He has gold glitter applied to his beard and there is age yellowing to the glue. There's a drop of the same glue on the top of Santa's left mitten. His paint is in pretty good condition but the rabbit fur on his suit shows some wear and some of it is missing on the back. I've seen these light covers called everything from ornaments to toys to candy containers - in fact there are several variations of the same Santa figure in my Christmas collectibles identification books (with a huge variation in value, up to $65 for one like this). The only one I found in my books with rabbit fur has a similar jingle bell tied to the hanger so I think it's original. American made, circa 1940s to early 1950s.
Circa: 1940s - 1950s
