Germany Pink Roses Footed Demitasse Cup and Saucer
A tiny porcelain footed miniature or demi teacup and saucer set made in Germany in the early 1900s to 1910s, The elaborate cup has four legs, a fancy scrolled handle, scalloped rim with lavish gold trim, and hand painted pink roses and green leaves all around the upper edge, finished with a luster glaze. It's just 2" high by 1-3/4" ar the rim. The 4" saucer appears to have lost most of its gold decoration.
Both pieces are marked with a green backstamp reading Germany in a circle surrounding the number 74. The cup has an impressed number 744. Other than the gold wear to the saucer, the set is in very good vintage condition with no damage.
