Old Italy Glass Diorama Scene Indent Christmas Ornament Father Christmas
This Italian diorama style indented dimensional scene Christmas ornament is from the 1950s. Inside the concave recess in the silvered glass is a hard plastic Father Christmas or Belsnickle style old fashioned Santa Claus with one arm outstretched, the other holding the toy sack slung over his back. The ornament is silver on the outside with a rayed back, the inside is deep cobalt blue with glittery mica snow. The metal cap is marked Italy. 2-3/4" high to the top of the cap, in excellent condition with no damage.

22 Vintage Pink Glass Christmas Ornaments, Indents, Figurals, Painted
Here are 22 beautiful vintage pink glass Christmas ornaments: figurals, indents, and decorated. The two shown in the second picture are damaged - the old German figural berry ornament has a hole in the bottom and the big double indent is broken in the center of the reflector.
The ornaments in the third picture are a 2-3/8" triple indent with pink flower petals around each of the 3 reflectors, a 3-1/2" triple indent teardrop with pink mica glitter snow at the top and bottom, a 3" double indent like the broken one above but intact, and a knob-bottom teardrop double indent with swirled reflector centers.
Picture four shows a 3-1/2" knob bottom blown silvered ball with pink and blue stripes, a 3-1/2" long striped hot air balloon ornament, a USA-made 2-3/4" teardrop with gold and pink mica glitter stripes, a solid dark pink Shiny Brite ice cream cone, a Poland 2-tone pink blown teardrop with mica snowflake decoration, and a blown solid dark pink 2-1/2" fat teardrop.
The two bell ornaments are a solid 2-7/8" Shiny Brite and a painted pink and gold with mica blown bell with a wired glass bead clapper.
The ornaments in the last picture are a solid pink 2-5/8" Shiny Brite, 2 solid pink blown balls with satin finish, a silver ball with hand painted rose, rosebud and leaves, a small swirled stripe blown ball, two Shiny Brite striped balls with mica glitter decoration, and a small dark pink Shiny Brite ball with white and green stripes.
Most of these ornaments have age and handling wear, some are quite shabby with flaking paint and/or noticeable age spottiness. Some of the metal caps are rusty and several are replacements but I think all the non-USA ornaments came from Poland and Germany.
Circa: 1930s - 1950s

Ringed Striped Lantern Shiny Brite World War II Unsilvered Glass Christmas Ornament
This scarce figural glass Christmas ornament was made by Shiny Brite during WWII. Silver nitrate was needed for military use, so American ornament manufacturers had to use transparent flashed and painted colors on their ornaments during the last 2 or 3 years of the war.
The ringed lantern is 3-1/4" high. It's decorated with white crushed glass mica glitter and painted with patriotic red and blue transparent stripes. In very good condition with no breaks or chips and only a little wear to the mica glitter on the shoulder of the ornament. The photo shows a loose wire hanger in the bottom of the ornament, it has since been removed.

Pair of Blown Glass Figural Bell Christmas Ornaments
Two very pretty figural bell Christmas ornaments with pontils forming the clappers at the base. They're nicely decorated with pink, blue, and green geometric bands trimmed with gold glitter around the centers, blue draping with white polka dots at the tops and bases, all on a pearly white satin background with silvered undersides. The bells are 3-1/2" high and in excellent condition with no damage. The metal caps are unmarked, the ornaments date to the 1980s.

Dozen Vintage Poland Blown Glass Christmas Ornaments
A mixed assortment of twelve vintage Polish blown glass Christmas ornaments. All but four are indents, most are teardrop shape. There are three round ornaments and one is shaped like an ice cream cone. The largest is the red teardrop with yellow painted flowers at 3-1/2" long, the smallest a 1-1/2" round gold indent with a flower petal inside (which apparently is covering up a break in the back wall of the indent). The white with red center stripe teardrop is indented on both sides. Some have replacement caps and some do have some color wear and spottiness but all will display beautifully on your vintage Christmas tree.

Blown Glass Teardrop Christmas Ornaments in Wired Tinsel Cages
Three very pretty blown satin glass long teardrop ornaments, each wrapped in wired metallic tinsel. They are 7 to 8 inches long total; one is blue with silver, one is green with silver, and one is beige-peach with gold. The metal caps are covered with the tinsel but I think the ornaments were made in West Germany. I have a fourth ornament in dark gold with green mercury beads at the bottom that I will include if the buyer wants it (second photo). It has a hole on one side but you may want to use it anyway, hanging the damaged side in toward the tree trunk, or you may have a replacement glass teardrop that will fit the tinsel and bead cage.

8 Vintage Wired Tinsel Christmas Ornaments with Mercury Glass Beads
These colorful wired tinsel Christmas ornaments are so pretty, and unusual. I'm not sure if someone made them or they were purchased this way. There are eight, each different shape formed from colored wired metallic tinsel and all but two decorated with mercury glass bead ornaments.
The shapes include a dimensional basket, spider web, star, spire drops, and others in blue, pink, turquoise, silver and gold. They range in size from about 4-1/2 to 6 inches high. My pictures didn't turn out well due to poor lighting but they're simply beautiful! Price is for the set of eight.

Box 5 Poland Blue Glass Long Ribbed Teardrop Christmas Ornaments
Five blown glass Polish long ribbed teardrop or icicle ornaments in metallic blue, still in their original box (which originally held six ornaments). They range from 5-1/2" to 6" long and are shabby in an attractive, antique manner with remnants of old snow flocking and age wear to the silvering and blue finish. The metal caps say Poland and are intact but somewhat rusty. The ornaments originally had vertical mica stripes on the ridges but most has worn away from age and handling. There are no chips or breaks. The box is intact and in good condition but is missing the cellophane window covering.

2 Exceptional Deeply Indented Glass Christmas Ornaments
A pair of lovely, colorful deep reflector indent blown glass ornaments from Western Germany circa 1950. They're about 3" diameter, silvered with a spider web pattern painted red and amber in the center indent. The indents go nearly to the back wall, and the glass is quite thin. The outsides are silver with a wide green band around the openings and sponged white paint to give a snowfall effect. One has a replacement cap, the other cap is believed to be original and says "Premier, Western Germany" which dates the ornaments from 1949 to 1951 (after 1951, Western was shortened to West).
One ornament is fine, the other has a small break inside. It's on the inner "ceiling" and not noticeable when the ornament is hanging unless you tilt it to look into the upper top. You may be able to see the break in the picture, it's the small dark spot on the left side ornament at about the 5 o'clock position.

Box Red Green Striped and Glittered Glass Christmas Ornaments
A box of four 1960s fancy glass Christmas ornaments. They're 2-3/4 inches diameter, pearly white with red and green stripes and green glittered starburst designs all around the centers - very attractive.
The ornaments are in excellent condition, with few if any signs of use or wear. They come in Pyramid boxes but I'm not sure if the boxes are original (the boxes say Satin Sheen on the backs). The boxes have minor storage wear but are intact with no major damage. Two identical boxes are available, price is per box.

Christmas Mercury Glass and Pinecone Cluster Floral Craft Picks in Turquoise and Pink
These vintage floral craft pick clusters are made of silvered, colored mercury glass wired together. The two pretty pick clusters have tiny little pinecones among the glass balls. Pink and silver foil grape leaves are attached to the bottoms of the stems. The ornaments are airbrushed or sprayed hot pink so that part of each is colored and part is silver. Each of the two branches is about 14" long and has three sizes of glass ornaments from about 1-1/2" to less than 1" diameter. I count three missing or broken-off ornaments on one branch, two on the other, and there are a few pine cones with crush damage.
The smaller turquoise or aqua blue cluster has ten oval or egg-shaped glass ornaments wired together with silver foil stems. About 9" long overall with no missing ornaments, though the silver foil is loose at some of the ends.
