Child's Pewter ABC Plate and Mug These two sand cast pewter juvenile feeding pieces were made by different companies but they go nicely together. The 7" diameter plate has the alphabet and numbers molded into the rim. It was made by Pewtarex of York Pennsylvania. It's nice and shiny and in excellent condition.

The matte finish 3-1/2" tall ABC mug was made by Wilton Armetale of Mount Joy Pennsylvania. They still make a similar child's mug, but this piece is older as evidenced by the remains of black "antiquing" around the letters of the alphabet - they no longer apply the antiqued finish. You may wish to remove what's left with cleanser and a toothbrush. As you can see it's a little darker in color than the plate. Good condition with the exception of the worn black finish. Retail value of the set if new $66.50.

Wilton Armetale Pewter Bless This House Bread Tray Mint in Box This 9-1/2" by 6-1/2" bread tray was made by Wilton. It's made of a lead free, food safe cast pewter alloy called Aremtale. The tray is decorated with an image of a house surrounded by hearts and vines below the phrase Bless This House - very 1980s countryish, as befits the company's 1980s CountryWare line. It's mint and unused in the original box.

Wilton Armetale Pewter Large Grapes Serving Platter This Wilton Armetale pewter alloy oval serving platter is in the discontinued Mendocino Grapes pattern. It's the largest size, 15-3/4" by 11". Clusters of raised grapes, leaves, and tendrils decorate the rims and spill down the verge. The finish is bright and shiny but there is a round water mark on the surface that a gentle wiping with Dawn did not remove (I don't know how else to clean this type of metalware so I didn't rub at all or try anything stronger). There are also several scuff or scratch marks to the surface as shown. As you can see from the pictures, the water stain and scratches are very visible in certain lighting, much less so in others. The underside has the RWP round logo and the original label is still attached.
