1955 Adventurer Stamp Album With 386 Postage Stamps
The Adventurer postage stamp collecting album is dated 1955. It's partially full, with 315 stamps (by my count, I could have missed a few) from all over the world mounted inside. Most of the stamps are cancelled, some are not. Of course few of the stamps are dated and they are mostly American, the ones that are span the 1950s. The most recent I saw was dated 1962. Some of the postmarks are quite a bit older, I saw at least one from 1937.
In addition to the album, there are an additional 43 stamps mounted on separate sheets of heavy paper, and 28 loose stamps. There is also a 1950 dated brochure from Globus Stamp Company. The album is in good used condition, no tears or heavy wear noted. The original owner's name and street address are written on the first page under "This Album Belongs To".
