This beautiful hand painted porcelain mustard, jam, or condiment jar isn't marked but it might be from Japan, as there's a bit of white raised moriage decoration on the green ribbon panels separating the pink and magenta-purple roses. The pretty design is enhanced with lots of gold gilt decoration. It's 2-1/2" high to the lid finial by about 2-1/4" wide at the rim. The lid is notched for a spoon (not present). In excellent condition with no damage.
