This vintage clip-on Christmas ornament is a carved candle depicting a Belsnickle Father Christmas style Santa Claus, 3-1/2" high not including the wick or tin spring clip. I am not sure that it's actually wax, it feels more like composition but I'm not about to light it or scrape it to find out for sure. The Santa has a hand painted flesh tone face that looks like molded clay, white beard and mittens, red coat, and white cotton fur around the bottom of his coat which is dusted with iridescent glitter. There is some crazing of the red paint and a smidge of wear to the white. The unmarked clip looks new but the ornament does not, it may have been added later.
