A set of three charming and unusual Christmas tree ornaments featuring hand painted doll-like wooden angel figures inside wired clear blown glass balls. The ornaments are 3" high by 2-3/4" diameter, mounted on metallic gold foil starburst bases. The wood angels inside the transparent globes are all dressed differently and holding a different item: a star, book, and guitar or fiddle. Each ornament is wrapped in thin crinkly gold wire and topped with a gold thread hanging cord. They aren't marked but I'm fairly certain they were made in 1980s West Germany. One ornament has a single loose wire, otherwise they're in excellent condition.
