A set of two beautiful Christmas angel candlesticks from Western Germany, made between 1946 and 1951. The 2-7/8" diameter bases are bright cherry red hard plastic. In front of the candle holders are a pair of realistically hand painted angel figures - one with her hands clasped in prayer, the other holding a red candle. The undersides are marked made in Western Germany, Ges. Gesch. (which is a German registered mark similar to American patent notations).

The angels have some minor soiling which should come off easily with a little Dawn and a Q-tip, otherwise both candle holders are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
