A 3 piece child's pottery dinnerware feeding set featuring the original Raggedy Ann and Andy ragdoll characters created by Johnny Gruelle from the early 1940s, produced by Crooksville China. The shallow rimmed deep plate is 9" diameter by 1-1/4" deep, the cereal bowl is 5-1/4" diameter by just over 2" deep, and the mug is 3-1/4" high by 3" diameter.
All three pieces are very good condition for their age with no chips, cracks, flakes, or fleabites though you'll find some utensil scratches and other signs of use. The mug has some light crazing and there is mild to moderate wear to the gold band trim at the rims. The plate decal has some wear to Andy's face and the camel's forward knee area as shown. The bowl and plate are both marked in gold script underglaze "Raggedy Ann and Andy Ware by Crooksville, Copyright 1941 Johnny Gruelle Co.". The mug isn't marked.
