A pair of early 1960s clever retro Napco ceramic Christmas candle holders featuring Santa Claus holding up a holly leaf candleholder a'la Atlas. The candlesticks take taper size candles up to 1 inch diameter and are 3-1/2 inches high. In addition to the foil National Potteries Japan labels on the bottoms, they are marked ® Napcoware X-5476. One candlestick has a popped glaze bubble from manufacture on the inside rim as shown in the third picture. The other has a tiny glaze flake or scratch at the inner edge of the holly, seen greatly magnified in photo number four.
