This iconic 1950s child's souvenir of Yellowstone National Park is a Western style fringed suede cowboy jacket or coat in black suede and white vinyl. The front sides are decorated with twin Wyoming cowboys on bucking horses (the Bucking Horse and Rider image is actually a registered trademark of the state of Wyoming).
The jacket has white fringe at the front and back yoke, along the length of each arm at the backs, and around the lower hem. Two eyelets above the yoke fringe at each side provide the only closure, though the tie is missing. Yellowstone Park is stenciled in white across the back. The interior is completely lined in black, gray, and red cotton plaid (fused to the suede).
There are no tears or stains, but I did note a few dust lines to the outer folds from storage. The fringe has no cuts or tears but some of it is crimped or standing up - you can easily tame it back into place using a hair dryer.
There is no indication of any standard size notation, my guess is it will fit four to seven year olds. Measurements: Front length 18 inches including fringe from shoulder seam to bottom. Back 14" wide across the underarm seams, sleeves are 15 inches from shoulder seam to cuff measured across the tops.
