Very ornate and decorative piece, this hat pin contains several gemstones within Victorian metalwork. Granulated designs circle the 14k globe measuring approximately 16mm in diameter. Ruby, sapphires and a diamond are set in small clover shapes on the midsection of the globe. Whole piece screws onto the head of the pin; smaller gold ball accents the top. Pin measures 5 and 3/4 inches, the total length is 6 and 1/2 inches. Shows some wear, top ball is slightly dented; pin has scratches, otherwise in good condition.
