Fantastic English Pub “Call Box” to Summon Barkeep.

When a customer wanted service in the pub, they pushed a button on the wall which activated the Call Box in the back room. The little star would jiggle to tell the staff which room to go to. This pub has three rooms on call:

- Private Bar.
- Public Bar.
- Bottle & Jug.

Size: 13 1/4" wide x 8" high x 3 1/2" deep. Made by Baughan & Co, Reading. Looks...

Patented Coat Rack - dated 1906 - wall mount.

What a clever old piece. The metal hooks actually close like pincers when a coat is hung on them… to keep the coat from falling off. The patent date is embossed on the metal. PAT’D APRIL 17, 1906. There are mounting holes in the middle at top and bottom.

Size: 17 1/2" wide x 6" high. The hooks extend out 6".

Condition is good overall. Doesn’t look...

Old Illuminated Watney’s Pub Lamp Sign – Large.

This is a spectacular, large and original Watney’s pub sign approximately 60-70 years old. It is shaped like a Victorian lamp, and most likely would have hung at the pub entrance. It has a beautiful frame of heavy copper. There are four sides, each with a Watney’s Red Barrel glass insert. The lamp is set off by a substantial copper finial. This is the real deal. It would make a...

DOOR KNOBS - PUBLIC SCHOOL, CITY OF NEW YORK C.1899

Over 100 years old. We have a small quantity of the original, heavy brass door knobs that were used in New York City schools over a century ago. These are NOT reproductions.

We found them many years ago in the dusty basement of a salvage yard in Manhattan. We can have them professionally polished and sealed against tarnish for an additional charge.

It's fascinating...

ANTIQUE RAILROAD CAR MIRRORS - PAIR - C.1900. Gorgeous wood mirrors that were originally built in to a very fine railroad car, most likely a private car. The wood is solid walnut and burl veneer. There is gold edging on the trim. Superb craftsmanship. The mirror glass is old and worn. It could certainly be replaced, but the wear adds to the pieces in our opinion.

Size: 37" tall x 18 1/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep. ...
