CABINET PHOTO – POLICEMAN–GLOUCESTER MASS
C.1880. Outstanding image of a policeman from Gloucester, Massachusetts. His badge appears to say “SPECIAL POLICE, GLOUCESTER.” I’m not sure what the “Special” denotes. I can’t quite make out the badge on his hat. A very human portrait of this old fellow in his humble uniform. Nice watch fob and chain. Photographer: Adams, 192 Main St., Gloucester, Mass. Size 4 1/4 x 6 1/2. Condition of...

ANTIQUE PHOTO - LARGE - WEDDING PARTY. C.1890's.
Fascinating scene of the wedding party posing in front of what looks to be a factory building where many of them likely worked. This is a wonderful glimpse of their world.
7.5" x 9.5" print mounted on a simple, embossed mat board that is approx. 12" x 15". Mat has some wear on edges, but the image is excellent with just one scratch in the brick area.

Miniature Cabinet Photos - Little Girl Front & Back.
What a delightful find. This is a matched pair of little mounted photographs. Each measures 1 5/8" x 3 1/8". These are smaller than CDVs. The little blond girl in her denim overalls is adorable.
We would estimate these as late 1800's to early 1900's. They may be novelty photos made at a fair. Condition is near mint.

Another classic image. Young boy outfitted for school, posing with his dog in front of a fancy studio backdrop. Looks like he's holding papers or folders. Handwritten note on back says "W.B. Scobie, Ogdensburg, NY. 1895. Father of Georgia Scobie." Supposedly taken in the studio of the boy's uncle.

ANTIQUE BRASS FRAME & PHOTOGRAPH - MID-1800'S.
This is a gem of a frame with what looks like its original accompanying photograph still inside. It is sturdy brass with beautiful detailing all around. The detailed area on the front and on the clasp is reddish brass with an almost copper appearance, but I'm pretty sure it is brass.
The heavy clasp on top is firmly attached and moves well. The back is solid brass and once had a...

CABINET PHOTO – BOYS PLAYING STREET HOCKEY C.1910.
Here’s a captivating image of a group of kids in their street hockey "uniforms," posing in a face off. The leg and knee pads worn by the boy on the right are amazing. They could be borrowed from his baseball gear, but not sure. This must have been a very exciting event for these boys.
Looks to date from around 1910. No photographer ID. Size: image 4 1/2" x 6 1/2"...

CABINET PHOTO – 1880 STORES-TAILOR-FURNITURE
Excellent view of a thriving 4-story commercial block in the 1880’s. Great look at the signage, awnings, merchandise and the employees of the businesses. There is the Boston Clothing Company, a furniture store that looks like Charles Shikarick, and a Merchant Tailor. Big sign over 2nd floor windows says “Furniture, Bedding & Co. Not sure where this was taken, but with the Boston reference,...

Terrific set of four images of a late 19th century farm. All are identical size with identical card mounts. One image appears to be husband and wife on their wagon.
