Cabinet Photo – Miniature of a doll. Captivating tiny photograph of a 19th century child's doll. Looks like a cabinet photo, but is tiny. Size 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/2" wide. May have been done for a doll house. Condition is excellent.
 

Carte De Visite – The amazing standing baby.

This little girl must be taped to the chair! Look at her tiny hands. Pretty impressive how they got her all dressed up, standing still and looking at the camera. Very nice German CDV C.1900.

Carte de Visite – Young Naval Officer or Midshipman.
Not enough of a naval expert to say for sure, but this is a very nice carte de visite of what we believe is a young American officer or Midshipmen. Looks to be from just before or during the Civil War.

Carte De Visite – Man and dog - Jack Russell terrier. Very nice English Carte De Visite (CDV). Dated in ink on the back Jan 2, 1862.

Condition: Very good. Just modest wear. Was kept in an album. Terrific early Jack Russell piece.

 

CARTE DE VISITE – CDV OF LITTLE PEOPLE. A classic example of this type of CDV. Circa 1870. Note the huge chair at the edge of the image. There is no identification of the couple. Photographer ID. Charles d. Fredericks & Co. 587 Broadway, New York. Size: 2 3/8” x 3 1/8”. Condition is good overall with some moderate wear.
 

Miniature Cabinet Photos - Little Girl Front & Back. What a delightful find. This is a matched pair of little mounted photographs. Each measures 1 5/8" x 3 1/8". These are smaller than CDVs. The little blond girl in her denim overalls is adorable.

We would estimate these as late 1800's to early 1900's. They may be novelty photos made at a fair. Condition is near mint.
