This is a very early PRR dining car tea pot with a beautiful script PRR logo on one side. The script logo was used until approximately 1908. The inside of the lid is stamped with the number 40, which is also on the bottom. It’s in very nice condition, and is well marked on the bottom. See the photographs.

4695
ANTIQUE RAILROAD CAR MIRRORS - PAIR - C.1900. Gorgeous wood mirrors that were originally built in to a very fine railroad car, most likely a private car. The wood is solid walnut and burl veneer. There is gold edging on the trim. Superb craftsmanship. The mirror glass is old and worn. It could certainly be replaced, but the wear adds to the pieces in our opinion.

Size: 37" tall x 18 1/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep. ...

Cabinet Photo – Train Wreck 1880’S - Hyde Park, MASS. Few things captivated late 19th century America like a good train wreck. This one is near Boston. It is still fresh judging by all the crowds gathered even during the winter with snow on the ground.

Photographer imprint on back: W. H. Barritt, Photographer, Hyde Park, Mass.

Size: 5 1/4 x 8 1/2. Larger than standard.

Condition is excellent with just very modest soiling...

4081
CABINET PHOTO – RR ENGINEER & ENGINE C.1890. This is a wonderfully gritty image of a late 19th century railroad engineer. He has obviously just paused for a moment from his duties, because he is clearly in his soiled work clothes. His hand is moving slightly as if he is anxious to get back to his familiar world. The his watch chain shows well. Photographer ID is an imprint on back: Ben Biscombe, No. 69 South Poplar St.,...

CABINET PHOTO – CHIEF ENGINEER - ALTOONA. Great looking man with walrus mustache. I don’t know if he is a railroad man or a fire chief or something else. His cap badge says "CHIEF ENGINEER." He’s wearing a medal, but can’t quite make out what it says. The right side of the medal looks like a CA-N.. maybe CAPN for Captain. Photographer ID: M.C.P. G., Cor. 11th St. & Chestnut Ave, Altoona, PA. Size: 4 1/4" x 6...
