7205

Arts and Crafts antique copper tea kettle.
One of the loveliest we’ve ever come across. Arts and Crafts style, probably from the 1900-1920 period. The proportions are elegant and the hammered finished is stylish but understated. Beautiful wicker handle.

Size: 8" high x 7" wide.

There is a silver medallion on the back of the kettle. The piece has no makers name or marks, but on the bottom there is a number...

Trophy of Bronze from Columbia, America’s Cup Defender. Superb large loving cup trophy made from the bronze of the 1899 America’s Cup defender, Columbia. The original small plaque that certifies this is still firmly affixed to the bottom of the trophy. Columbia was victorious over the Irish challenger, Shamrock I, owned by Sir Thomas Lipton.

Size: 11" high x 10" wide.

It is a golf trophy from the Wauwatosa Golf Club in...

Joseph Heinrichs Brass Tea Kettle on Stand with burner.
This is a knockout piece. The kettle and stand are decorative brass, and there is a decorative wicker handle. The brass has delicate designs etched into it. The kettle sits over the virtually unused burner which looks to have all its original parts in near mint condition.

Size: 11" high x 8 1/2" wide

Condition: Excellent. The only condition issue is the wicker...

Old Illuminated Watney’s Pub Lamp Sign – Large.
This is a spectacular, large and original Watney’s pub sign approximately 60-70 years old. It is shaped like a Victorian lamp, and most likely would have hung at the pub entrance. It has a beautiful frame of heavy copper. There are four sides, each with a Watney’s Red Barrel glass insert. The lamp is set off by a substantial copper finial. This is the real deal. It would make a terrific...

DOOR KNOBS - PUBLIC SCHOOL, CITY OF NEW YORK C.1899 Over 100 years old. We have a small number of the original, heavy brass door knobs that were used in New York City schools over a century ago. These are NOT reproductions.

We purchased them many years ago from a salvage yard in Manhattan. We have done nothing to change the patina except to wipe them off. You can have them professionally polished to a brilliant shine, but to us that...

ANTIQUE BRASS FRAME & PHOTOGRAPH - MID-1800'S. This is a gem of a frame with what looks like its original accompanying photograph still inside. It is sturdy brass with beautiful detailing all around. The detailed area on the front and on the clasp is reddish brass with an almost copper appearance, but I'm pretty sure it is brass.

The heavy clasp on top is firmly attached and moves well. The back is solid brass and once had a...

Terrific Old Copper Tea Kettle – Wavy Embossed Design. They don’t come much cuter than this delightful round pot. It will take a good polish if you prefer that. We’ve left it with its handsome aged patina.

Size:
7 1/2" tall
8 1/4" wide from spout to handle.

Condition is excellent overall. There is a small hole in the bottom that would need to be repaired for actual use. Anyway, its much more fun to look...
