Arts and Crafts antique copper tea kettle.
One of the loveliest we’ve ever come across. Arts and Crafts style, probably from the 1900-1920 period. The proportions are elegant and the hammered finished is stylish but understated. Beautiful wicker handle.

There is a silver medallion on the back of the kettle. The piece has no makers name or marks, but on the bottom there is a number...

Joseph Heinrichs Brass Tea Kettle on Stand with burner.
This is a knockout piece. The kettle and stand are decorative brass, and there is a decorative wicker handle. The brass has delicate designs etched into it. The kettle sits over the virtually unused burner which looks to have all its original parts in near mint condition.

Condition: Excellent. The only condition issue is the wicker...  

Nice old Restaurant Plate – Café Mellone. Handsome, heavy old 7" plate. Probably from 1930’s. White with medium green decoration. Excellent condition. Only flaw is small chip on back. Marked with letter M over word CHINA with a letter L below.  

DOOR KNOBS - PUBLIC SCHOOL, CITY OF NEW YORK C.1899
Over 100 years old. We have a small number of the original, heavy brass door knobs that were used in New York City schools over a century ago. These are NOT reproductions.

We purchased them many years ago from a salvage yard in Manhattan. We have done nothing to change the patina except to wipe them off. You can have them professionally polished to a brilliant shine, but to us...  

Antique Silver Plated Mug – Gorgeous Handle & Initials

Beautiful, high quality English piece from the late 1800s. The photos show the fine details. The initials C K M are skillfully engraved in ornate Victorian style.

BORDEN’S Bowl-Elsie-Elmer-Beulah-Beauregard. This is a wonderful original old bowl in excellent condition. 4 1/2" high x 10 1/4" diameter. Original C.1950’s. Great color pictures of Elsie, Elmer, Beulah and Beauregard around the outside. Gold rim line is still in very good condition. Very fresh color. Moderate surface crazing. No chips, cracks or repairs.

The bottom is marked in gold "Universal Cambridge Oven...  

Vintage Poster – SODA FOUNTAIN BOWLER – 1947. This is an awesome piece. It is actually an original 1947 press sheet for signage used in a soda fountain or a bowling alley snack bar. Size: 35" x 45". The items would have been die cut out to be mounted on cardboard. Now, the funny juxtaposition of elements and the classic illustration by Albert Fisher creates a unique, large graphic. It even still has the 1947 printer’s...  

ANTIQUE BRASS THERMOS - ICY-HOT C.1909. This remarkable piece is a very early thermos-type bottle made by the Icy-Hot company of Cincinnati. 15" tall.

The exterior is an attractive, beautifully finished ribbed brass. The liner looks like thermos-style glass and is intact. (We have not attempted to fill the thermos and would not advise using it). The brass is in excellent shape and shows suprisingly modest wear from what...  

Vintage Poster - Uncut ICE CREAM Press Sheet. C.1950. A knockout image of strawberry ice cream. This is an original, untrimmed production sheet that was used to make soda fountain signs. Outside the image area you can see the press marks and production notes.

The size of the full sheet is 29" x 44". If you wanted to trim the unprinted area, the size of the sheet that includes the two ice cream images is 29" x...  

Terrific Old Copper Tea Kettle – Wavy Embossed Design. They don’t come much cuter than this delightful round pot. It will take a good polish if you prefer that. We’ve left it with its handsome aged patina.

Condition is excellent overall. There is a small hole in the bottom that would need to be repaired for actual use. Anyway, its much more fun to look...  

Tintype of a Proud Baker. Here's a character. Proudly wearing his cap. C.1870’s. 1/6 plate (2 1/2" x 3 1/2"). Good overall condition.  

CABINET PHOTO – ELSIE COCHRANE MILKS COW. This is an unusual little cabinet photo of a women identified as Elsie Cochrane milking her cow. No location given. The way she is dressed makes it look like she has simply stepped outside to get some fresh cream for her tea. Size: including mount 3 7/8 x 5. The photo itself is 2 x 3 3/4. Image is in excellent condition. Card mount is excellent with just very slight soiling.

CABINET PHOTO - AMAZING HOUSEWARES PARTY C.1900. CLICK THE IMAGE TO SEE THE ENTIRE PHOTO. This is an extraordinary photograph of what appears to be the turn of the century equivalent of a Tupperware party. The women are all holding different household wares and are all in a festive mood. There are two men in the photo. The charming young guy is in the middle of all the ladies, while an older man is off to the side.
