These wonderful silk postcards were sent home to England from the front. Their beauty was a poignant contrast to the horror of the trenches. This one represents the ASC... Army Service Corp. (aka: Ally Sloper's Cavalry).

The men of the ASC operated the transport. There is a pocket under the crest that still holds the companion calling card printed with "Hurrah aux Allies." Postcard size 3.5 x 5.5. Very good condition.
