C.1910. A great look at a Victorian beach moment. Don’t you wonder what they were thinking. Mom and dad don’t look particularly lighthearted, but maybe the little girl is having some fun, though we hope she doesn’t get her shoes wet. We wonder what the photographer was wearing.

Photographer: Stober, Borkum, Kohlers Strandhotel. A Google search shows that Borkum is in Germany and is an island resort in the North Sea. Size 4 1/4 x 6 1/2.
Condition of both the image and card are very good. There is just some paper loss on the top left corner of the mount, but it doesn’t touch the photo. The image looks slightly faded. This must have spent most of its life in an album.
