Absolutely superb early French Rail poster by George Meunier. Original full size poster from the 1890's. It is promoting travel to the region and shows Mont St. Michel in the background. The brightly dressed mother with her kids ready for the seashore is terrific and contrasts wonderfully with the old man in his monochromatic outfit. Great touch of the little girl playing with a crab. Size: 29" x 41 1/2". Imprimerie Chaix (Atelier Cheret) Rue Bergere 20 Paris. Condition is excellent. Linen-backed.
