This is a beautiful old teapot in its own right, but the inscription makes it special. It was presented in 1895 to a man leaving a company to take another job.
The inscription reads:
"Presented to Harry G. Shields, Esq.
along with a tea and Coffee Service as a mark of the esteem and regard in which he is held by the workers on the occasion of his leaving The Wallace Works to fill an important position. Perth 5th September 1895." Perth is in Scotland. (See the quality of the engraving in the close up photos.)

9 1/2" high x 9 1/2 wide x 4" deep
Condition: Excellent. Has been well cared for and polishes up beautifully.
