Fantastic original antique seed poster from France. C.1900. POIS means peas. (See the next listing for a second poster for green beans... HARICOTS)
Each attractive image is of a different variety of peas and is labeled in French.
There is a small blank area on the poster where a dealer would have had their name overprinted. This poster were never used and is in near mint condition. They have been mounted on linen for preservation.
Size is 21 3/4" x 28 3/4". This genuine antique poster will frame up beautifully. The POIS and HARICOTS posters would make a knock-out pair.
