Another original french lithographic seed poster from C.1900. This is the amazing mate to the peas poster, POIS. This one for green beans bears the heading HARICOTS.
Each attractive image is of a different variety and is labeled. Besides many normal varieties, there are several named after important things or people of that era. Amiral Dewey (Admiral Dewey), hero of the Spanish-American War. There are also varieties named Telephone and Automobile!
There is a small blank area on the poster where a dealer would have had their name overprinted. These particular posters were never used and are in near mint condition. They have been mounted on linen for preservation.
Size is 21 3/4" x 28 3/4". This genuine antique poster will frame up beautifully. The POIS and HARICOTS posters would make a knock-out pair.
