A striking vintage lithography poster, C. 1930, for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway in England.
Founded in 1927, this is the World’s Smallest Public Railway with a 15" gauge. It still exists. The image shows an ocean liner passing a lighthouse off Dungeness in Kent.
The artist is N. Cramer Roberts, whose signature was the intertwined initials NCR. Lithographer: Vincent Brooks, Day & Son Ltd. Lith. London, W.C.2.
Size is 24 7/8" x 39 1/2". Mounted on linen. Condition is excellent.
