Beautiful cake plate made by Fostoria in the American pattern. Could also be used as a canape plate. It is approx. 12" in diameter (round)and sits on three feet. Crystal in color, the cube shapes increase in size from the daisy like center to the sawtooth (pointed scallops) rim, which is slightly curled.
This is in good condition, showing some of the signs of wear that would be common for a piece of this vintage that has been loved and used. There are minor surface scratches on the top (no doubt it was used as a cake plate) and some scuffing on the feet, nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece. I have priced it accordingly.
There are absolutely no nicks, chips, etc.
