Hanns Bastanier Bronze Caribou
This wonderful realist bronze of a caribou by German Realist artist Hanns Bastanier is at least 50 years ols and may be older. The bronze stand measures 13" long and 4 3/4" wide ,the caribou is 18" wide and 12 1/2" tall. This artist is well documented and is listed in several books on German Realism which was the result of the take over of the art movement by Third Reich. Born in Berlin,Germany 1885 and died in 1963 in Berlin. I know I have put alot of pictures in but the wait is worth it since the bronze is a great item and in the European Market would be selling for quite a bit more then I am asking

Bergman Bronze
An Mid-eastern motif cold painted bronze by F.X. Berman who worked in Austria from the 1890's until 1935,when he died. A grouping of a woman and two men with an erotic overtone of desire. These bronzes, I have been told were used as a form of erotic pleasure where the men would rub the breast or thigh of the woman.
