This book is titled "Oil Lamps The Kerosene Era in North America" by Catherine M. Thuro. Wallace Homestead, 1976, 352 pages, harbound, 8 5/8" x 11/14" out of print. Thuro is the acknowledged authority on Victorian Glass and composite lamps. This is the first of two volumes. Loaded with black and white illustrations of early flint glass and later non-flint glass. Shows finger lamps, stand lamps and early globes. Her descriptions of each lamp are short and to the point. Dust jacket has two 1" bottom tears on front and two ½" tears on the back some wear on all edge. Bright and clean inside. Separate 1980 price guide included. (BkThuro)

"Collectible Glass Presents the Technique of Emil J. Larson Featuring Durand Glass Book 3" this is the full title of this marvelous book. First Edition published in 1967, by Modern Photographers, New Port Richey, FL, Ted and Vi Lagerberg. This 9" x 6" oblong paperback has a yellow plastic spiral binding and heavy stock pages. Showing 234 examples, in nice color photos, from Durand glass, Dorflinger, and Quezal. Many art glass lamp shades are pictured. Minor extremity wear and scratched covers. Very clean inside.

Heisey Catalogs and Price Guides 4 pieces
1. Hesiey Glassware Catalog No. 75, 1913 LW Promotions, 1975, Heisey Collectors of America. Soft cover 11" wide x 8 1/3" long. A reproduction of the 1913 Heisey Catalog featuring numerous pieces of very plain Heisey patterns, such as Colonial and Greek Key. Also many examples of candleabra and candlebrum. Back cover stained interior pages clean and bright. Over 100 pages but not numbered.
2. Separate Price Guide for the catalog above. Yellowed cover edges interior excellent.
3. Hesieys Glassware Catalog No. 76 House of Memories, 1965, soft bound. This is a 48 page reprint of the Heisey catalog. Measures 10 ½" wide x 7 1/8" high. Cover and text are yellowed.
4. Heisey Glassware Identification and Price Guide 1973, LW Promotions. This price guide corresponds to Yeakleys book "Hesiey in Color". Excellent condition. 48 pages soft bound. Measures 5 ½" w x 8 Ό" high.

Portland Glass Company book
Portland Glass Company, by Frank H. Swan 1939, The Roger Williams Press, cloth bound, 127 pages, 9 Ό" h x 6 1/8" wide. Encompasses the history of the Portland Glass Company. Excellent black and white illustrations of the most famous Portland Glass patterns, such as Tree of Life, and Loop and Dart with Round Ornament. This is probably the first research work on Portland Glass, later research has discovered that some of Swans attributions are incorrect. The cover is marred with soft white scratches and staining. Top and bottom spine corners, and bottom cover edges are rubbed. Back and front inside cover papers are yellowed. Inside pages are on slick paper in very good condition. (#BkPortland)

Author: Lowell Innes. Publisher: Houghton Mifflin Co. 1976 . Out of print antique reference book. This is a wonderful book combining history, research and illustrations of Pittsburgh area glass from the 18th 19th Centuries. There are many, many black and white photographs as well as catalog pages. The text is rich with facts, history, and explanations of glass making. It is highly readable. There are numerous examples and photos of early lacy and blown glass as well as Early American Pattern Glass. 522 pgs. 8 ½" x 11" hardback with original dust jacket. The dust jacket shows very slight wear, and the previous owners name has been crossed out in ink. Generally in very nice condition.

Coudersport Glass 1900-1904 - Majot
This wonderful book was written by Tulla Majot, published in 1999 by Antique Publications. Soft cover, oversized, 128 pages, in new, unused condition. This glass was made in Potter County, Pennsylvania "over a span of five years". The author discusses the influences of the Webb family, Harry Bastow, and the Fentons. The Trailing Vine pattern is shown extensively, in color and black and white, as well as the Basketweave pattern, salt and pepper shakers, the Three Fingers and Panel pattern, vases, water sets and reproductions.
