Cut Flute Handled Whiskey Flint Flute was made by several companies including Bakewell and McKee, c. 1860. This version has six cut flute panels, an applied handle, a polished pontil on an hexagonal base plus one rounded base section. 2 5/8" h x 2 ½"d. The unusual applied handle application features the bottom section being precisely and neatly folded loosely once, leaving two openings. Glass is very clear with an unbroken teardrop bubble on the main body section between the upper and lower handle. No damage. (3246)

Flint Etched Grape Wines (set of 4) American maker unknown, c. 1880. 3 7/8" h x 1 ¾"w. These stunning bell-toned flint wines are wheel cut and engraved with bunches of grapes and leaves. Each cutting is different. Each has a cut 7-panelled stem running from 7 cut loops at the base of the bowl. Each has a neatly polished pontil on the underside of the foot. Base sizes vary. (6194-97)

English Pony glasses - pair Nicely cut designs on this pair of English Pony glasses, from circa 1840. There are stars in ovals, cross hatch design in ovals, and both are separated by rays. These have polished pontils, and measure 3 3/4" tall by 2 1/4" in diameter. Both are in excellent condition.

Button-stem flint cut glass -1 This is a nice example of a trumpet shape bowl on a wine glass with a double button-stem. This has 10 cut elongated panels tapering to a wafer. This flint glass, with a great belltone, is probably English, and dates from circa 1840. Measures 4 7/8"high by 2 7/8" in diameter. This has a cut and polished pontil. It's in excellent condition. See the other example of this style we have, just in a smaller size. (P177)
