Dog Rabbit Series Bread Plate Scene II Made by Gillinder & Son, c,1880, also called "Boys in Cart." This is the second in a series of 3 scenes depicting the cart ride. 10 3/4" wide handle to handle. The center is frosted. A few minor surface scratches on the clear glass rim, a series of ¾-1" long scratches on the underside top in the frosting. The table rim edge has a 3 ¾" long section of inside edge roughness from the mold. (4318)

The maker is unknown for this 5 ½" plate, c. 1885.The plate is illustrated in Lindsey’s "American Historical Glass." Lillian Russell was known as the "Queen of Light Opera," and sang for 16 weeks at the Chicago World’s Fair. Perfect condition. (6110)

Dog Rabbit Series Bread Plate Scene III Made by Gillinder & Son, c,1880, also called "Boys Falling Over Log." This is the third in a series of 3 scenes depicting the cart ride. The center is clear. 10 3/4" wide handle to handle .Many fine scratches on clear rim and on plate surface – you must catch the surface scratches in the light in order to see them There is a 4" long section of mold edge roughness along the inside of the base table rim. GAR Glass Platter This rectangular glass platter ( bread plate ) honors the Grand Army of the Republic which was organized in 1866. The GAR insignia forms the center panel. Engraved in small letters on the medal in that center panel is " Grand Army of the Republic Veteran 1861-1866." United States shields decorate the corners. Illustrated in Lindsey "American Historical Glass. " 11 1/8" l x 7 5/8" w. c. 1870-1880. Excellent condition. (#5593)

Faith Hope Charity Plate Maker unknown, c.1875. 10" d. without handles x 1 ½" high, making it a deeper plate than many others. Also known as the Three Graces. Patent date of Nov. 23, 1875, is on the plate. Swirling hairline thin manufacturing lines can be seen on the surface of the plate . Excellent condition, no nicks or chips. (6070)

Palmette Variant Bread Plate Amber Palmette is attributed to Bryce Walker, c. 1870. Stuart’s reference, " Bread Plates and Platters", calls this Lotus Leaf. . It has a 9" diameter without handles, and a 10 ½" diameter with the closed tab handles. Many small bubbles are visibleon the rim and on the clear glass portions. Excellent condition. (#4707)

Deep Star Blue Water Tray Deep Star, also called Diamond Bar and Block, was a pattern of the Model Flint Glass Company c. 1890. Teal’s book "Albany Glass" pictures a smaller rectangular tray, however I believe this is the octagonal water tray in that pattern. 12 ¾" l x 11" w x 1 ¼" h. Excellent condition. (#5748)
