Maryland Bread Tray
Maryland is one of the "States" patterns made by US Glass c. 1898. 11" l x 8 ¼" w. There is a ¼" long chip on the underside middle of one of the scallops and 2 hair width side by side nicks on the underside ribs, about an inch away from the unbroken bubble. (#4929)

Flag, Eagle and Fleur de Lys Milk Glass Plate
Made by the Westmoreland Glass Co., c.1903. This 7" milk glass plate has traces of its original "goofus glass" type gold paint. The patent date and number appear on the back of the flag (Sept. 8, 03 36538). Made in 1903. Excellent condition. (#5368)

GAR Glass Platter
This rectangular glass platter ( bread plate ) honors the Grand Army of the Republic which was organized in 1866. The GAR insignia forms the center panel. Engraved in small letters on the medal in that center panel is " Grand Army of the Republic Veteran 1861-1866." United States shields decorate the corners. Illustrated in Lindsey "American Historical Glass. " 11 1/8" l x 7 5/8" w. c. 1870-1880. Excellent condition. (#5593)

Ribbed Grape Plate
This pattern is attributed to the Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. circa 1850. The 6” plate is flint, with a scalloped edge and star center. Several of the scallops have minor damage, with 3 having more extensive damage, meaning that a significant portion of the top of the scallop is chipped. (W170)

Continental Bread Tray
Made by Atterbury and patented July 6, 1875. The building shown in the center is Memorial Hall, a feature of the Philadelphia Centennial. The building is sometimes inaccurately referred to as "Continental Hall." The tray is 13" long and 9" wide. Wonderful handles with hands holding an object with faceted knob ends. There is a great clear unbroken bubble inside one of the knobs. Excellent condition. (#5483)

This clear glass tile has a vine design colorless (clear), and measures 3 7/8" square - made by the Addison Glass Factory, Addison, New York, between 1890-1910. This has has light edge chipping to one edge and several impurities in the glass. Generally good condition. (#T-1169)

The maker is unknown for this 1880’s pattern. Also called Jewel Band. The center reads " Bread is the Staff of Life." This bread plate is deeper than many, measuring 1 ¾" deep by 12 ¾" long handle to handle x 9" wide. Excellent condition. (#5688)
