Cambridge Tile Company Numbers
A set of 3 tiles with the recessed number " 5 " on them - white background, numbers in black - high glaze. Made by the Cambridge Tile Company, of Covington, Kentucky, circa 1930. The backmark is interesting as it says " Eastern Branch New York ". Each tile measures 3" x 2" x 3/16" thick. All have minor edge nips, two have side chips - definitely still in usable condition. Antique Encaustic Triangular Tiles - 121 Pieces
These antique triangle tiles were made by Minton Hollins & Company, circa 1880, England. The longest edge measures 3" and the other two sides are each approx. 2" long. All tiles are just under 1/2" thick. Two tiles form a square. 18 tiles form a block approx. 6" square. Tiles are matte blue - most with minor edge nips, some with small chips. Great for restoration projects, and suitable for floors, walls and tables.

Antique Tile Set by Cambridge Tile Company
This set of three tiles has a design that looks very Art Deco, although they pre-date that. They were made by the Cambridge Art Tile Company, circa 1890. Each tile measures 3" x 6", and has a light brown majolica glaze. The tiles all have some edge roughness, and one has a chip to the bottom right of the self framing border. These antique tiles are perfect for restoration, tables, cool paperweights, or to add to a collection. There is a 4th tile in the set which I will throw in for free! (The top self framing border edge has been cut off). (#1653)

This set of border/liner tiles has an outstanding deep blue glaze majolica (high) glaze. Tiles measure 5/8" x 6". Marked Germany on the back - circa 1920. In unused, excellent condition. This is a set of 50 tiles. (many more available!).

Mosaic Border Tile with Unusual Mark
What makes this border tile so unusual is the mark. The Mosaic Tile Company, in Zanesville, Ohio, produced some terrific tiles - and this is a very nice heavy border tile, with a rope design, and semi matte green glazes. Measures 6" and sits 1" high - one minor glaze chip near one end. The mark of the company is unusual - not the standard conjoined MTC logo - and one side bears hand written numbers. Circa 1920. Antique Tiles - Set with Rare Purple Majolica Glaze
What a great design of interlocking flowers with a ribbon on these tiles! Each of these border tiles measures 3" x 5 7/8". The glaze is a true purple – a rare color to find on antique tiles. These were made around 1890, and although the backs are not marked, they are probably American. All are in very nice to excellent condition. (#1204)

Moravian Pottery Vintage Border Tiles
Set of 9 tiles made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, Doylestown, PA - circa 1920. Each hand made tile measures about 6 1/4" long by 1 3/8" (bottom) - just under1" high. Only the most minor of glaze nips present - condition is generally very good to excellent.

Vintage border tiles
Interesting set of 3 vintage border tiles. The high glaze blue one is unmarked, circa 1920, measures 5 78" x 3/4". There is a black, green and white transfer printed tile that is 6" x 1/2" wide marked H & R Johnson, circa 1930 or 1940. Third tile is black and white flower design measuring 5 7/8' x 7/8" marked Mosaic, circa 1930 or so. All three in decent condition - great for a table project, bathroom insert or another fun design idea! (#1324)
