Moravian Pottery Vintage Border Tiles Set of 9 tiles made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, Doylestown, PA - circa 1920. Each hand made tile measures about 6 1/4" long by 1 3/8" (bottom) - just under1" high. Only the most minor of glaze nips present - condition is generally very good to excellent.

AET Border Tiles - set of 8 Set of 8 tiles with the same design, by the American Encaustic Tiling Company, made in Hermosa, California between 1919-1933. Each measures about 2" x 6" - 1 tile about 1/8" longer. All in nice condition - 2 different marks. (#1452)

Vintage border tiles Interesting set of 3 vintage border tiles. The high glaze blue one is unmarked, circa 1920, measures 5 78" x 3/4". There is a black, green and white transfer printed tile that is 6" x 1/2" wide marked H & R Johnson, circa 1930 or 1940. Third tile is black and white flower design measuring 5 7/8' x 7/8" marked Mosaic, circa 1930 or so. All three in decent condition - great for a table project, bathroom insert or another fun design idea! (#1324)

Franklin Glaze Sample Tiles Set of 7 tiles by Franklin Tile Company, Lansdale, PA. All circa 1930 - 1940 - all approximately 4 1/4" square. 2 tiles are orange glazes, 3 are in the beige line, and 2 are greens. 5 of the tiles have glaze numbers/formulas - 1 tile has part of an old backing - and 1 is not marked. 3 tiles have tiny edge nips - generally all are in very good condition. Pair of Mosaic Tile Company tiles - checkerboard design This is a nice pair of small tiles with an interesting checkerboard design. Each tile measures 2" square by 5/8" thick. Each has raised semi matte blue squares and recessed squares with molded lines, in an orangey glaze. Tiles are circa 1930 and both are in excellent condition.

Maw Antique Tile This border tile has a blue to blue green majolica glaze - made by Maw & Company, England, circa 1880. One corner chip and minor edge roughness. Measures 4" x 2 7/8". Great for a garden or table project.

Set of 5 Blue White Antique Tiles with Hunting Animals Hunting was a desirable motif on tiles of the Victorian era, and these are great examples. Two different scenes - one design is of dogs chasing a rabbit, and the other of dogs chasing a wild boar. All are in an unusual light blue color, on a white background. Each measures 8 ¼" x 4 1/8", and were made in Germany, ca 1880. There are 2 tiles with the wild boars, and 3 tiles with the rabbit. One boar tile has a left edge chip, and one rabbit tile has a tiny flake on the left and bottom edge. Others are in excellent condition. (#T-1204)

Antique Tile with Pig Fabulous liner / border tile with the face of a pig in the center - nice tooth showing on the side! (OK - maybe it's a boar ). Unmarked, probably Belgian, circa 1880-1900, this measures 6" x 3", molded in relief. High glaze, in pale rose-brown, cream, gold-green, pale purple and pink. Small chip on top edge near the center, and minor edge roughness. (#1438)
