These tiles are very similar to the pillow (aka pillowed) tiles made by Malibu Potteries in the same time frame. High mottled brown glaze - raised lozenge on the surface - rounded edges and corners. Wheeling Tile 2 of 4 This vintage tile has a wonderful Chinese / retro design! Done in a high glaze burgundy background with matte gold to gold/brown in the recesses. Made by the Wheeling Tile Company, of Wheeling West Virginia, circa 1940's. This is one of four in stock. Great for an indoor installation project or make your own tile topped table out of these! Mexican House Number Tiles - set of 3 Great for use on houses, porches, gardens; this is a set of 3 Mexican tiles, each with a different number. These are numbers 3, 4, 5. Each is 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" red clay, hand painted. Age is unknown. Chip on bottom and back side of #4, minor glue on the backs. One is marked "Made in Mexico" - others are unmarked red clay. (#1705)

Set of 5 Blue White Antique Tiles with Hunting Animals Hunting was a desirable motif on tiles of the Victorian era, and these are great examples. Two different scenes - one design is of dogs chasing a rabbit, and the other of dogs chasing a wild boar. All are in an unusual light blue color, on a white background. Each measures 8 ¼" x 4 1/8", and were made in Germany, ca 1880. There are 2 tiles with the wild boars, and 3 tiles with the rabbit. One boar tile has a left edge chip, and one rabbit tile has a tiny flake on the left and bottom edge. Others are in excellent condition. (#T-1204)

Grueby Corner Tiles - Pair This is a pair of inside corner tiles, made by Grueby Pottery, circa 1910-20. Each measures 4 3/4" long by 9/16" thick. Both are matte glaze - one is their desirable green glaze, the other a mat grayish. Minor paint residue on the gray one with 2 tiny top edge flakes. (#1030)
