Cupid and Venus Covered Compote This low standard covered compote was made by Richards & Hartley c. 1891. Note the wonderful scalloped rim. There are 2 small ¼" inner rim nicks under the lid. The inside bottom of the bowl is worn to almost a frosted look. 8 ½" d x 8" h. (#5166)

Dakota High Standard Compote The Dakota pattern is a product of Ripley & Co, and US Glass, c.1885. This is a very large compote with a flared rim, measuring 8 ¾" d x 8 3/4" h. The top rim has about a 3 ½" section that cooled too quickly causing the rim to be out of true round. Except for this anomaly, excellent condition. (#5588)

Ivy in Snow Cake Stand Made by the Co-Operative Flint Glass Co., c. 1898. This cake stand has an 8" diameter and stands 4 3/8" high. It is nicely proportioned with an interesting pedestal base. I have seen larger , both round and square cake stands in this pattern, but this is the first 8" stand I have had in my inventory. Excellent condition. (5809)

Baby Thumbprint Cake Stand This is a very hard to find, almost rare child’s cake stand. Excellent glass quality and clarity, as fine as that of Heisey. Maker unknown, c. 1910. It stands 3" h x 4 ¼" d., with a six paneled stem and a very flat surface. Excellent condition. (#5830)

Bow Tie Cake Stand A high standard cake stand in the Bow Tie pattern, measuring 9" in diameter and 6" high. Three straw marks appear on the surface of the cake plate, 2 on the top and one underneath. Very clear glass, several bubbles throughout glass. . A product of the Thompson Glass Company, Uniontown, PA, c. 1889. (#5362)

Canadian Covered Compote This 7" diameter x 10 ½" high covered compote was made c. 1870 - the pattern name is Canadian. The manufacturer is unknown. The base and lid each have 3 different scenes including bridges, forests, houses, sailboats, and even the top of a castle. Each scene is separated ny ivy leaves. Both cover and base are in excellent condition. (#5731)

Pressed Leaf Flint Compote This Pressed Leaf flint compote was made by McKee, c. 1868. Note the fine cable edge and the repetition of the pattern on the foot. 8 ¼" l x 4 7/8" h. On the inside of the foot rim there is a 1 ½" long line of chatter marks, which reflect through when sitting on the table (although these marks are not on the bottom of the foot.) (#M180)

Waffle Sweetmeat Sweetmeat/footed covered nappy , 12 scallops on flange. Hollow, six lobed stem, circular stepped foot with waffle pattern underneath. 8 ¼” overall, 5 ¼” h base, 5 ¾” outside diameter lid . Condition – some surface sections of flange have been smoothed, 3/8” underside crack between a set of scallops, one fine hairline extending underneath from flange to outer rim. (#M170)

Hamilton Flint Compote A product of the Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1860’s. This flint compote measures 7"d x 5" h. There are ¼" chips on the top of 2 contiguous scallops and a lesser chip on the one next to them. Three other scallops have small flakes. The outside pattern of the compote has a small section with less than pinhead sized breaks in the design. (#4978)

Two Band Covered Compote The Two Band pattern is a product of the late 1880’s. This handled low standard compote is 7 5/8" d x 8 ¾" h. There is a ½" x 3/8" on the bottom of one base handle. A chip shears off one side of the finial on the lid. There is a ¼" chip inside the lid cover. (#5025)
