Farmer's Mush Cup - brown/white transfer Great handle on this brown and white transferware mush cup. Measures 4" high x 4 1/2" diam at the top. Nice thin gold band around the top rim. Circa 1870 - England. Minor staining on inside bottom of the cup - generally very nice condition. (#T-1918)

It is a companion to her first two books on Flow Blue china - this is subtitled "Similarity and Value Guide". Pages show a color photo of a piece, with its proper name, maker, a detailed description of the scene, marks on the piece, and the date made. Ms. Williams groups the patterns by scene type, such as the "Oriental" and "Floral" categories. Nice index of patterns in the back. Hardback - 9" x 6" - in gently used condition. Pub. 1986, Fountain House East, Jeffersontown, KY, this is the "revised edition", 209 pages.
